God made a class of hunters and planters, and he made a class of fisherman. some of us have fishing in our DNA!! Richard u have it for sure. just that natural instinct to know what to do in all situations.. many people just dont have it, they study, read books, go on guide trips, but they just never figure it out. They dont have the FINNY genetics!!

Hi Gene The Fishing Machine, Went Out on the lake yesterday morning and wanted to share an experience I had. I have all my spinning rods set up for a crappie trip on Weiss Lake 1st week of May...so I was using my 9 ft crappie pole with a Garland Minnow and caught a Striper Hybred....got him in the boat and lost my grip and he fell to the floor and flopped and broke my line and flopped right back into the drink. While I was retying I noticed a swarm of minnows 10 feet from me then suddenly...bam, bam bam,,,about a hundred Stipers were busting the water all around me....coolest thing I have ever seen while fishing....caught 12 Stripers within an hour and reeling them in on a 9 foot crappie rig was the best!!! Biggest was probably 8 lbs!! Took me 10 minutes to get him in the boat...fishing IS FUN and good for you!!

What length crappie do you usually keep? Or do you just keep some days and throw back other days? I've noticed in some of your videos you have no problem tossing back 13+ inch crappie, which is by no means a bad thing.
@RichardGeneTheFishingMachine7 жыл бұрын
Yes you said it. Some days I aim to keep and some days I just go for the enjoyment of fishing. To be honest I go fishing for the sport of it eveytime and I only keep fish if someone I know wants them. I very rarely take them home for myself. Thanks for watching DrZiggyzoo1!
