Thank you. I started to learn something new. I have even seen two or three of these gestures used before and had no idea what they meant.

There is a gesture a japanese girl made and I could not understand, she used the 2 yatta fingers, ✌, then started to make a similar sign as you showed in the 1:00 of the video. Kind like a quote and quote USA people make but just with one hand. That happend when we were saying goodbye and goodnight. What this sign exactly mean?

The “got you” gesture is the Leo diCaprio finger snapping meme I guess.

Are there other not so common gestures?
@RichardHeiney7 жыл бұрын
Hi there. There sure are. I think I've seen a book with 70 gestures. These would include body postures such as bowing as well if I remember correctly. These are some of the more common/popular hand gestures. And I'm sure you could find some more obscure gestures in various parts of Japan that only the locals use.

Thanks! Yes, I think it's Hanami time. That's the time the sakura trees bloom and Japanese people go to the parks and to the rivers where the trees are. Everything is pink and the pink petals fly through the air. Very pretty.

Sorry for the late reply. Your post was in the spam for some reason. I don't get any updates about spam. Seems like a new channel, congrats! I'm afraid I'm not an artist, but I think there is some potential. You might wanna consider learning to draw digitally. There is equipment for that. It would pump up your production value, better quality videos too. And in the digital age we live in, I think a very solid career is more than possible. Either way, keep creating!
