And he healed all sorts of people on the Sabbath to rub it in the eye of the religious people. The principle is important , that we should rest, ( the land also was given rest, etc) but we are not under the same law any more so the day doesn't matter.

I recently started keeping the sabbath as well.. it's Saturday but I don't make a religion out of it like how Jewish people can't even carry their own children or push a stroller because that's considered a heavy load.. But I'm not working on that day anymore. And I wouldn't feel bad about going to church on Sunday either. If our body is the temple, then we can be at church anytime. We can use that day to concentrate on God, Jesus Christ and the holy spirit.

This man is very humble sda pastor, I believe every word he said although I’m struggling on sin and have fallen away I feel the gentleness to return to the lord and read his book I read years ago about how the Catholics changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday. I went to Mormon church and decided to switch to sda because that truth was too deep to be ignored. After marrying a non believer I left sda because of problems I had at home I became depressed and stop praying at times I was embarrassed for my Christian bothers and sister to know so I crumbled within alone. watching this and lately I’ve wanted to turn back to the lord.

Sabbath is kept based on the Hebrew calendar not Gregorian. Sabbat is Saturday, always has been. The pope tried to transfer Sabbath to Sunday to show that he has more authority than the Bible. It's in their written church record. I'm not SDA.

Hey guys I just want put out here something I’ve learned in my walk with The Lord and I don’t want this to in any way become and argument but a little while back I was trying my absolute hardest to keep the sabbath not actually knowing on which day it really was weather that be Saturday or Sunday and so I was researching a little bit but what I came to find out was that in the Bible Jesus said “I’m the Lord of the Sabbath” and so due to him saying that in the Old Testament they always kept the Sabbath in the old way but nowadays we are able to rest on the Sabbath by simply resting in Jesus , so yeah I pray each of you that may read this just comes to the point in their walk with The Lord that they just walk in his peace no matter the circumstances because I say this in all honesty, His peace truly does surpass ALL understanding and there is nothing and no one like Jesus!

There’s a lot of history to discover plus Bible prophecy and scripture that can explain the significance of a Seventh day Sabbath. Start with pastor Doug batchelor. It’s great you are praising God but the scripture you are referring to actually instructs us to keep the sabbath. Then he said God had told him that what God had cleansed to not call common or unclean. The Sabbath was not changed. It is a perpetual covenant. Yeshua (Jesus) said "If you love ME, keep my Commandments. Yeshua has appointed times we must keep, they are all listed in order in Leviticus 23. He spoke against the Pharisees and Sadducees because of their hearts but His Commandments have not and will not change. They were written on Saphire Stones with the finger of God. yes the Calendar was altered but Always through history the "Seven days weekly cycle" was always the same, so even though the names of the days were changed andvthe amount of month in the year and the amount of days in those months were affected in this change in the Calender the weekly cycle was always the same. Notice God did not say worship on Saturday He said the seventh day so no matter what the seventh day is always gonna be the same. Also I do not appreciate the fact that the video was cut and paste all through am not judging the intention for this but does make it appear that the Pastor was incorrect which may be a false implication. @@workhardfootball8915 No and yes, the law is the "law of moses" aka Gods law. Rest of the commandments in the law show us how to keep the ten. We keep all the commandments we can. There are laws only for women, only for levite priests and only for farmers. Levite priesthood is not anymore on earth but we have heavenly priesthood so we dont sacrifise animals anymore because our high priest is in heaven doing the priestly sacrifises through His sacrifise in melchizedek priesthood. Keeping the law is not hard. We have the Holy Spirit so it really helps to love our neighbor automatically and thats 90% of the commandments. Rest need a little study but are easy to fullfill: the sabbath, holy days, food laws. Basically all born again christians keep 90% of the law but leave few easier commandments not kept because of bad teaching. Only thing that changed when Christ died was that we got the Holy Spirit to help keep His laws and priesthood went from earth to heaven where Christ can mediate with pure sinless heart on our behalf when levite priest were not sinless mediators☺️

@tanelihamalainen6828, youre explaining everything well and on point! Praise God! Paul kept the Holy Days and even took a vow and offered a sacrifice to prove that he kept the Law of Moses. Please read Acts 21. Messiah is the Law in the flesh and kept it perfectly. We are to follow him and walk as he walked :). And it is not a burden or too difficult. It is the way we repent and return to the image we were created after accepting the free gift of salvation. Keeping the Ways of God are how we love Them and live a righteous life. Read Psalm 1 and Psalm 119, they will encourage you.

You can honor and keep the Sabbath Friday sundown to Saturday sundown as a Christian and still go to church service on Sunday. *You don't have to be a SDA to do this.* On the Sabbath, you simply do not work. You should be in prayer, read your Bible, spend time with family and friends. Before Friday sundown, have some simple meals prepared, so you don't cook and clean up a mess. I don't see why there's such a controversy. Honor the 7th day and still attend your church's Sunday service. I attend a Church of Christ. If I want to observe Friday/Saturday Sabbath and my Christian brothers and sisters don't, it shouldn't be a dispute over who's right and who's wrong. This is purely between *you and God.*

I've seen other versions of this clip and this pastor has definitely edited out major points the SDA man made. He didnt say he didnt know if he was saved, he said he could say he is saved today and then next week decide to turn away from Christ, which would make him unsaved. If He read the whole chapter of Acts 10 and Peter's vision of clean and unclean animals, he would know that it's about people and the prejudices that the Jews had towards anybody, NOT Jewish. Peter was told to meet Cornelious a Roman soldier and believer in Christ who took care of the poor. God gave Peter the vision of clean and unclean animals referring to people NOT whether or not He was declaring man could eat swine and shellfish. How could that have to do with the Sabbath? 1. It doesn't mention the Sabbath. 2. It talks about man esteeming days. 3. God never had a verse where Ge states that He changed the day He sanctified and blessed in chapter 2 of the Bible. The gregorian Calandar did not change the order of days - it added months (which is why October (octo - 8) became the 10th month (sept = 7, now the 9th month).

I have been attending a seventh day adventist church and observing the sabbath on the correct day. But i noticed that this church is not entirely biblical, there are pictures of jesus when you walk in, which is not biblical. And when i mentioned revival they said "were not dead, everyone here is alive!" Which is not true, unfortunately. I really want to find a church home and a group of christians to fellowship with because i am alone in my journey with my family lookin at me crazy like Jesus is a new drug im addicted to. This makes me sad because i feel like ill never find a place that is biblical, righteous, filled with the Holy Spirit and on fire for God.
