Ричард, потрясающе! 🤩 Недолго пришлось ждать твоё большое Дзен-полотно 😊 Ваши эвкалиптовые деревья всегда эпичны, потому как им приходится переносить невероятную жару до оголения корней и они продолжают жить, чтобы ты приезжал их проведать и показать миру всю эту потрясающую палитру рефлексов и оттенков! И вся фишка в том, что ты сливаешься со своими прекрасными STAFF, идентируясь с ними - цвет шляпы, как под твою уважаемую бороду, так и в цвет уникальных старых эвкалиптов))).. Все пурпурные оттенки, а так же разные активные тона синевы говорят о сильно жарком дне - чем жарче, тем сильнее холодные теневые рефлексы, всегда наблюдаю синие и пурпурные тени на море в особенно жаркие дни. Твой "шпатель для блинов" 😀 воистину волшебный; даже вижу на нём ангельские крылышки, помогающие делать виртуозные сочетания палитры на холсте 🤩 😇 Жужжание пчёл вызывает фантазию полёта шмеля и всё это оживает с наших экранов, вызывая ощущение участия ))) Шикарный финал пробежки за оставленной камерой!... ))) Пленер удался на славу!!! 🤗 ❤ СПАСИБО!!! 🍀 🍀 🍀

G'day Richard, always love your gum tree/river paintings. In the past, I marveled at paintings that were like photographs, such impressive detail. I was naive about other forms such as Impressionism. I didn't understand I guess. You have completely turned me around. What changed? What I have learned is that Impressionism isn't about capturing every detail or nuance. it is about capturing an experience, a feeling. It embodies the quality and play of light, the textures and the tones that dance on the eye. Done well, the appearance of detail materializes from well placed brush or knife strokes, the eye is deceived. It is magic, an illusion if nothing else. Really enjoyed this paint mate, I needed that. Hi Richard, good to see you working near the river. I was up there for 6 nights. and man it was some hot days. I can not get over how many people put their tents under the gum trees. no wonder they call them widow makers. great painting mate. as you know I love painting the old gum trees. keep up the great work mate. cheers Owen.

Your sweet gum paintings are so awesome! I had a question for your Richard. Im trying to build a palette board like the one you have.. I've tried various things and failed. I know you use a marine plywood. Is the marine plywood coated with something? The more details are helpful. I've been using palette knives a lot in my own work and find that I need a large board like yours to have the room to be able to mix and move around. Any help is much appreciated! - Brian Spencer from Illinois, U.S.A.

Hey thanks! I use 5mm marine plywood with an acrylic coating to seal it off. The more you use and clean it , the more buffed and shinier it gets 👍🎨
