Richard thanks for sharing ur wisdom as always! Have you tried doing a Dry Brine instead of a wet one? Just sprinkle salt on the surface and leave uncovered in your refrigerator for 24hr. You’ll get a much crispier result! Peace and love from MN

"Oh deer, me!" How much can one learn about market gardening during a week? It best to do a full Season / 6-month cycle to learn the ropes? Amazing to see your nut trees finally beginning to show some substantial size from when they were first planted. Yes, weather turbulence as transition of climate. A big part of the solution will be massive afforestation in areas where temperate mega-forests should be growing and likewise with tropical forests. The UN and higher need to get on to this because it's several hundred years worth of planning.

Is a keyline-plough essential for creating as nice pastures as you have or is it just at help? I will not be able to run a keyline but I will be able to run the animals in the “correct” way. Will I eventually end up with as nice pastures as you have?

Its not essential but its speeds things along greatly if you have very heavy soil or soil with a hardpan from historic tillage and farm implement use. lack of gas exchange is a common bottleneck that keeps microbes from thriving.
