Success 😊 Richard you're an inspiration, a source of endless knowledge and you always grant me a sense of camaraderie when I swear my head off at my cars 😢. P.S. please take care of yourself. I notice a lot of groaning and moaning in the last episode. We're not getting any younger and that under chassis work does seem to be getting further down and harder to get up (Phanar 😂).

thank you, and yes the groaning does occasionally feature in these awardwinning* presentations. I am doing great so far

That was a task and a half Richard but all shipshape now. Had a chuckle when you were getting in the MG.reminded me of getting stuck in a GT6 hardtop.Climbed in ok but had to fall out and crawl across the floor I am 6'2". MOT'S are a joke.took a Citroen GSA for MOT and it failed on handbrake performance. The whole braking system was new and handbrake worked perfectly. The handbrake pads were smaller than a 50 pence piece so were not much good. Had a right old argument with the tester and when I spoke to Citroen and gave them the readings they said it was all ok . Back to garage and fired a few f--ks into him and he admitted that he had spoken to Citroen as well and said it would pass so got the MOT.

As a rule I avoid and MOT linked to a main dealer, or any multisite mot companys. Small family run MoT test stations offer the best service for an older car. Everyone else just seems intent on getting them off the road

Well done ! Isn't typical you think you are al done and then a spring , or a light or somting just f**k up your day. I was not planning to do anything on the mongrol LSE i got this summer, but i thought i just test the brakes and change brake fluid, but of course ended up redoing the hole f**ng brake system. Calipers , houses, lines ,the lot. Well i gues now I now that part thosent looking over for a little while! They always want the last word don't they! Any way, houray that out of the way! What's next!?

the joys of working on 50-60 year old Landies! At least they can be fixed with basic tools and a variety of swear words.
