This is going to be an interesting project.no welding i trust as its come from a dry climate. My thoughts go out to the people of spain in tha Valencia area after the tragic events of this week.

Going to be a very interesting project since my two wrong hand drive 92 County and 94 LWB county are suffering from the same Range Rover ailments plus some more. The 94 does have the same high idle issue at start up.

high idle on start up is "base idle speed" It is described in the ROM but if you are struggling please drop me an email and I will see if I can help

What an interesting car, Richard! You certainly seem to have a grasp of the intricacies of these incredible vehicles.. Did you mention that you will be fitting a JE engine..!!! - and in a manual configuration .. much prefer the four speed automatic with the wallowy suspension, my self. No accounting for taste. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for the next instalment!!

It'll be very interesting to see how this turns out, if it wasn't for the JE engine swap it all looks fairly straightforward (at the moment!) but add in the swap and everything changes doesn't it #gearbox #exhaust #etc 😄

depends on the config but 4 door rear quarter window rubbers are available from Atkinson Bespoke Engineering. www.ebay.co.uk/str/atkinsondiagnostics is their ebay shop. email me if you need more information

everything had a thick coat of stoneguard over it. front left spring was correct for the LHD config.

Nothing like taking on a southpaw as November beckons us to join it with it's threats of freezing your tits off without any due consideration or warnings and a Spaniard lurking in the workshop figuring out a way to contrive a 'muerte temprana' for it's best hope of surviving an unfamiliar early English winter. Shall we not mention 'Gibraltar' ?
