I only flicked on this by accident as it’s not usually one I watch but fk me the comments and casual pisstaking of accents etc was cringeworthy. Also, for anyone who watches us, we haven’t even been tactically caught out, we’ve simply fallen foul to injuries and some of our back ups are way short of required quality. The goals v West Ham for example were both individual errors / bad luck / deflections. People need to realise that spurs have had about 6 of their starting 11 injured/suspended and more bench players out as well all while adapting to a new system. Also im not saying that playing well is better then winning games but spurs have played better then villa and west ham and also went toe to toe with city away and got unlucky to not have got more points so give them some slack

Are you talking about the last few games only? This season we've beaten Brighton 6-1, West Ham 4-1, Everton 4-0 and scored 3 against multiple sides and still our best performance was 1-0 vs Man City.

Well done, they were better than a thread bare squad with the worst injury crisis in Prem history and a second string lineup playing 3 times a week with no chance of rotation. Spurs were the better team, because Newcastle were so shattered they made them look good. If I was a spurs fan I would be more concerned how a squad who are almost out on their feet still managed to create chances against you.

We fully could have put about 10 past you if we were on our day ourselves. Also, you're making out like we don't have a multitude of injuries/unavailable players as well. Even as a Newcastle fan I absolutely love Son, but it's clear to see fatigue is Newcastle's issue. Trippier has made barely a single mistake in his entire time at Newcastle, and has made 3 in the last 2 games. I suspect a full strength squad (for both teams) would be a much more even contest. 5 Goals in the first 21 minutes last time at St James.

Can't believe someone paid to be an expert on football actually said Villa's only got a good first 11. Our performances are based on rotating a strong squad of comparable quality. We've had Tielemans on the bench most of the season, Bailey has 9 goal involvements and has only recently started. Jacob Ramsey and Diaby came off the bench on Saturday. Lenglet is on loan from Barcelona and can't get in the team and we still have two of our best players last season out. Chelsea might have a better squad but it's nothing to do with lack of depth in our squad.

Newcastles entire squad is basically injured, and the few who are left are absolutely exhausted. Ive not known an injury crisis this bad in Prem history. I wouldnt say they were humbled, Id say their crisis is coming to an inevitable head. Any prem team should be able to beat a squad this thin and exhausted. Playing 3 games a week with the same starting lineup for weeks on end is not sustainable. They desperately need the xmas break and the january window. This season was always going to be tough, qualifiying for Champions league way ahead of scedule and before they had even started to build squad depth, they were still just repairing the damage from the Ashley and Bruce years. There are many seasons to come and plenty of years to strengthen, I dont think this defeat says anything about Newcastle at all. Tottenham played well, but Newcastle also gave them an easy game to win.
