If you are left handed can you reverse the setup?

Good question. It requires both hands play on the instrument. In other words, left hand needs to play as good as right hand does even a person is a right handed. Therefore, there is no necessary to reverse the setup.

In this instrument, left hand is more important than right hand. Therefore, you are lucky if you are left handed. It will be much easier for you to play the instrument better

@@lammy9733 sure. actually, the standard size zither can fit even a small "truck" or a car (just fold down both back seats).

@@lammy9733 However, the temperature is the problem for a truck to carry a zither but not the space/size. Guzheng is like all other musical instrument that sensitive about the temperature and humidity (not too hot and too cold). I keep my instrument between 60F and 88F 24/7 no matter it sits in my living room or in my little car

The oldest student I have taught is a 99 years old retired Mexican medical doctor. I asked him why he still wants learn the new thing. He answered: Why not?

one of my students is 82 years old. She loved guzheng when she was young but had no money to learn it. She was busy making money. Last year, she got cancer and decided to take guzheng lesson to not leave any regrets when she die

the youngest student Ii had is a 10 years old girl. She passed grade 3 exam after 6 MONTHS lessons. She practiced 6 hours per day
