I love the 1/5 scales, I know they are expensive esp the upgrades but I don’t care. Always wanted a XRT got an Outcast instead then upgraded it to a Mega Kraton. I was interested in the vigilante when it first came out but it’s just mess esp with the drivetrain and gears. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Nice run! That xrt is a beast. I’m going to be putting a hobbywing 1250kv g2 with a max 6 esc g2 in my xrt, I’m going for lots of torque and good speed what gearing do you recommend? I was looking at 21/35 setup

Any plans to get a Vigilante? They likely also need quite a few upgrades to handle the kind of bashing you do. But the much lower price point makes it a bit more reasonable to get upgrades for (once they come out).

Dang! Not sure about bulletproof, but as close as a TRX could ever be I'd say. You gave er hell! Nice job brother. These plastic trucks really don't need more than a 5687/5690 to get along either.Oh, and I've really enjoyed the Gravix tires for clay on my Xmaxx, might be TRX best 8s tire IMO. Yes indeed Brother 👊. A $1k RC should come with real power, real hardened gears and driveline, and be able to handle a decent level of abuse without failure. Unfortunately, that's not the case with the stock XRT.

for what they ask for these things they shouldn't need any upgrades. there shouldn't be anything TO upgrade. Rich probably has more in upgrades than the rig cost

What hobby do people do that something doesn't get modified? people buy 100k Corvettes and upgrade them...If you were to use this R/C the way it was intended it would be fine, I know people that jump (not like Rich) but 20 foot or so, and it's fine...these guys are using these to the extreme!!!! nothing holds up under extreme conditions...

Arrma does a lot better performance wise out of the box , yes your right , when I started with the Arrmas my friend was happy with his stock xxmaxx but it’s not even at the level as 300 granite if you like to drive fast and have seasoned RC skills .

And I bet his xxmaxx still new if not nicer , so depends on what you do . My granite long gone but I can’t afford to bash 1100 truck still needs upgrades . I can take stock granite and it would become free money compared t0 . We all know the xxmaxx is a special great RC it’s just always going have its levels .
