@@lopezfan24 it's like they had to rewrite all the story and script in a hurry and put all the blame on Claire's character. It would be good if the story was just the intrigue between staffs at white house like it used to be or having Claire vs President Petrov. They wasted Diane Lane's talent there. Like they just put her here and there. It made me realize if HoC was a good show because of Frank Underwood character. Poor Robin Wright, I bet she did all the best she can do.

It was terrible. They spent 3 months to write 8 episodes of utter crap. I can’t believe how bad it was, and that final scene was probably the worst ending ever.

Resolved? How? I just finished watching the last episode a couple of days back and didn't realise it was the last episode. I went back now to watch the next one, got confused when there wasn't a next one and then came on KZbin to check if was being stupid and missed something. It would have been a much better to finish it off at the end of Season 5 - at least at that point it was a genuine end of a season, and as it was the end to the Frank Underwood era, a potential end to the series. It just felt like a bunch of characters just talking about Frank the entire time and it never truly felt like Claire was the centre of the show. I really don't know how this season did anything to progress the story.

I thought the last episode was creepy in a way...they implied that Claire sold her soul to the devil....imo....no one was better than Kevin Spacey, furious at him. It would have been great if they had another 5-6 episodes where he came back, would have been a challenge for the writers. The real question: Had Spacey not gotten into trouble, what would the last season have looked like? Struggle between Frank and Claire, murder one, cover up?

There's only two fictional characters I despise. Joffrey Baratheon, and Doug Stamper. You have to give credit to the actors for their portrayal. Kelly is highly underrated as an actor.
