I’m a long enough Chiefs fan I remember when a Raiders defensive lineman picked up Len Dawson and body slammed him to the turf. Times have changed since then. Mahomes is an assassin when he’s locked in. A 7th round rookie is the guy caught doing it on the video. He probably won’t be on the field and he may not even be on the roster when the bill is going to come due on this one.

Len Dawson was down, Ben Davidson dove head long and speared Dawson while he was on the turf. It was Otis Taylor that ran up and tossed Ben Davidson around like a rag doll. . And later it was Buck Buchanan That picked up George Blanda and smashed him into the ground. . Not a lot of love lost between those two teams in those days - "We want Hubbard" LOL

As a Chiefs fan I invite all of our opponents this season to do something similar. Our schedule is tough as hell... as it should be. We have the talent to beat anyone, but a little extra motivation is always welcome. Bring it. Keep that bulletin board material coming. As if a chance at a 3-peat isn't enough, we welcome the shot at shutting your stupid mouth, lol. The Chiefs will lose some games, and that's ok. Let's see where we all stand in the end.
