When he got injured last year, I thought his best days were over, and I was frustrated with the Angels for not utilizing his talent. But to my surprise, he adapted his game and elevated it even further. I’m not sure if his arm will ever dominate the way it used to, but like Babe Ruth, his hitting might reach new heights. Plus, there’s a chance he’ll play in the outfield once he's done pitching. Even though I’m primarily a football and basketball fan, I’m Shohei’s biggest supporter because I simply appreciate greatness. Here’s to witnessing more broken sports records!

Willie Mays but he didn’t pitch. The “CATCH” makes up for some of that. Shohei is the best ever and still needs to play 15 more seasons. Crazy!!!

Not just the greatest Baseball Player of all time at this stage of his career. There’s never been another athlete in the world who is this much better than anyone else in history when you consider his pitching dominance. I can’t think of anyone who even compares.

imagine? he'd have to go McGwire/Henderson crazy these last few games but after last game i don't doubt it!
@scottcampbell96Ай бұрын
I didn’t think so, but it really is possible according to baseball-almanac. The Dodgers have 9 games left. Don Mattingly (10 in 8 straight games in 1987), Joey Votto (9 in 7 games in 2021), Barry Bonds (9 in 6 games in 2001), and Frank Howard (10 in 6 in 1968). These are just the records, I think, so there may be more. SB should be easy compared to that.

This is my 5,000th liked video and/or short! I've, only, created a YT acct. about a few years ago. So, I thought that, it is only fitting if I mark this auspicious occasion by commenting on a video about another historic achievement. I'm sure that many of you are near or have already passed this milestone. I wanted to wait for the right video to come along and I've found it. I'm not much of a sports fan anymore but, even I can appreciate the greatness of this man and his accomplishments. As a lifelong Angeleno who has lost interest in sports, as I've gotten older, I can still recognize that I'm witnessing something truly remarkable and perhaps generational. So, I say cheers to the Shohei Otanis and Caitlin Clarks of the world.
