Regardless of whether or not someone thinks they're talented or not, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson are/were very generous. Celine has a whole foundation specifically for charity. MJ could have easily been a billionaire but he gave over 300 million dollars in charities, random donations, and donated all of the proceeds from a few his shows to charity.
