Score: 5 In my opinion it was majorly overmarked. They faffed about far too much at the start, but when the actual samba started, Richie was wooden as a board. There wasn't enough content for my liking and I think the judges went way overboard.

Gio got his Tour starting in January he needs the time to prepare for that I'm sure ! So These two were never gonna make it to Halloween week . Sort of feel sorry for Richie .. think he been stitched up slightly .He did so good on week 2 ! Although he cant really dance he has tried. Shame this partnership did not work out though . Think this is definitely Gio,s last year on Strictly it's obvious.

Score - *6/10* For me it was Richie's worst dance yet, it was a step back, I loved his rhythm and the involvement with the judges with the leaves and props but it went on for too long and when he got into the Samba, his steps were too wide, he was very stiff, his hands were like airplanes huge lack of expression which is unusual for Richie, danced on a straight leg and there was no hip action. I loved the story, the shimmys and all the side by side. I think the theming helped this be better than what it was but what matters is he entertains and he's clearly loving where he is and I think everyone will side with that. I think they have so much more to give, interesting costumes 😶🤔

For me, it was all entertainment but no real dancing, the technique was thrown out of the window. Perhaps Richie needed more time, but his body did not absorb the technicality of this dance. Richie danced the whole routine with both of his knees straight, and that didn't enable him to produce any hip action. The accent was too much on the performance rather than of the samba. I found Richie to be pretty stiff and he also lost timing in couple of places, which is particularly pity, because musicality is crucial. Too much messing around, a tad repetitive, very poor leg action, not perfect in terms of staying on the beat of the music. I do appreciate the entertainment value though. My score: a 4.

Score: 5 I'm sorry I'm harsh but I don't think this was as good as the judges thought it was (except Craig). There was way too much hanging around at the judges desk so it took ages for the dance to actually start. Then when it started his arm was like a stick and it was very placed. Also his legs seemed quite bent and stiff throughout parts of the performance. It also lacked fluidity so none of the dance was really that impressive. And fun fact this was the earliest Gio has ever been eliminated from the competition, sorry Gio! No way this was ever worth an 8 😂

It's only once in a blue moon that you get someone like, Bill, Kevin and the wonderful Rose come along and make it so very entertaining. I'm not sad Giovanni was voted off. He's too good a dancer to have to perform that rubbish that was given him. Now he can concentrate on romancing Rose. Because I can see these two together. Strictly Come Dancing Week 3 Movie Week Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice first. The energy from these two is always amazing The dancing it self was good but as a Samba, the rhythm should be bouncing which it wasn't. I also have to blame the costume department for this one, for dressmakers who design wonderful costume for the celebs and pros to wear, they decided to stick Richie and Giovammi in onesies and say thats good enough which it is not. This dance defiantly one for the kids and people who love this paring.
