Your private parties in Detroit and Windsor in the 90,s and early 00’s were parties for the ages..most of you will never know the incredible, surreal spaces with the most sublime music and amazing people back when. Richie is a true genius, listen really listen to layer upon layer of his compositions, they may sound simple to many, but it’s far far from it. There is a reason Richie Hawtin is legendary. Met Richie in Tokyo in 2001 at Liquid Room. He gave me a pre-release copy of Closer to the Edit and signed it, still a treasured possession. He was completely bald then! Saw him live several times - genius DJ.

Sun W. Kim He's mixing multiple tracks at the same time, he's shown his set-up in numerous videos for Native Instruments. He usually uses four decks in Traktor software, so it allows him to play multiple tunes simultaneously which is why it sounds so much fuller than just listening to the individual minimal techno tracks by themselves.
