Certainly Ritchie Mo’unga has earned the starting 10 position in the ABs. He now has to convert this domestic form into the pressures of the test arena. He was hardly bothered by loosies in this game, which freed him up to direct play options. We need to see him and the ABs against real pressure before getting too carried away about future predictions. Our test season should slowly crank up that pressure, but the Lions vs SA will probably give us a better idea of how good we have to be. If he can play like this with the likes of Itoje breathing down on him we will be very competitive. But it was disappointing how soft the Reds tries were, especially close to the line.
@supershooter203 жыл бұрын
Fossilmatic: At the international level, the individual marking is intensive. So it is much harder to play well. Once, you become famous, it will become harder for Richie to play so well against good teams. Happens to everyone.

🤦 if you understood rugby you would know a master 10 doesn't mean Jack sqaut if the coach doesn't pick the best forwards .
@supershooter203 жыл бұрын
@@fear_the_lord1595 : I also understand that the other team’s coach also choose his best forwards and backs . And if he’s anything but stupid, he will try to neutralise all your best players as far as his resources can afford. It’s called game theory in sports: “Game theory is a framework for understanding choice in situations among competing players. Game theory can help players reach optimal decision-making when confronted by independent and competing actors in a strategic setting.” Most coaches put their best defender or multiple defenders on the opponent’s best player. They can also work out a counter to your best tactic eg. like Beauden’s cross kick pass to the wing. The rest is up to the flawless execution of the counter.
@fear_the_lord15953 жыл бұрын
@@supershooter20 I'm very sorry to do this to you . But you are obviously Clueless . And have no idea what I'm talking about . Our all lacks coaches have been trash since 2016 on wards . Playing favourite's instead of picking inform players . It's no coincidence why we lost to England in the 2019 semi . And why we lost to Argentina last year , a team that hadn't played rugby all year , yet they beat us . Because the coach is a trash can , just like his player choices . Here is some grassroots knowledge for you my friend . Forwards win games . Backs only decide by how much . Forwards create momentum and they create space for the backs . If they don't do there job , then the backs can't do there job . It's basic rugby . This is why the crusaders are so dominate. Because they do the basics to perfection . Not only that , but razor doesn't play favourite's . That's why they call him razor , because he will cut you out the team , if he knows you arn't the best in your position . This provides his players with a phycological edge . Because they know he only picks the best , they believe in themselves even more and they believe more so in eachother . And you can't beat a team with that mentality . Because they already believe they're the best , they already believe they've won the game before they even play . Have a good day 🤞😁
