You know what, this pissed me off, because there were so many lies said on the documentary on Jon’s side. We just recently watched a concert around the time What About Now was being recorded. 1. He was NOT drunk, did not appear drunk and it was a hell of a concert. Flash forward to the documentary where Jon talked like Richie was “unable to perform or was a no show”. LIES! I hope Richie never returns to Bon Jovi. He does not need Bon Jovi. Jon’s voice is gone and he sounds like shit. I watched Alison Hagendorf, I did not hear any arrogance. He has a big sense of humor and I am sure he was using it because Alison is a lot of fun. I am really sick and tired of all the hate being put into Richie - he just released 4 amazing singles which are better than Bon Jovi’s whole record. Stop judging him like he is a POS and Jon is a saint. Jon isn’t, and neither is Richie. They are human beings and they have good/bad days like everyone else. Jon’s cult needs to get out of the river of denial and accept the fact his voice is gone and his beach house concert with David and Stanks sounded like shit! Nothing against Phil X, he seems to be the ONLY one in the Bon Jovi camp who shows Richie ANY level of respect. You caught me in a really bad mood, so I needed to vent about something!

@LorClayt I agree with you 200%... this video is totally biased... lies and accusations towards Richie and not a word about jbj's arrogance in the documentary about himself. Dear Christopher if you want advice you should take lessons on impartiality... it's not enough to say that you don't want to speak badly of someone if you do. My personal opinion on your video? you could have easily done without publishing it!

The story that was always put out there was that Jon initially had his long time friend and Skidrow guitarist Dave Sabo as the original Bonjovi guitarist but then he met Richie at a club and got talking and decided to go with Richie instead. I can’t imagine any scenario where Jon would be begging anyone to work with him, I think Richie was blowing smoke on that a bit

No I think Richie was hurt especially his ego after he seen the documentary he was upset with what Jon had written in that documentary. Jon painted richie as a drug and drunk. Richie never came out and said the thing's Jon did out on the road. All the woman and crap, Jon mentioned woman because he knew there would be a possibility that it was going to be thrown out there once he was done with documentary. So his wife was upset but I believe it was Richie 100s of woman literally and I'm positive Jon was not a angel and did some drinking and drugs too. Jon just didn't let it take him over to where he had to go to rehab. Yes I was watched where Richie went to Jobs house brought him a b'day gift and Jon played the documentary with Richie there it was a surprise for Richie. Ritchie said that's Jon's version and he didn't agree with it Like one of the reasons Richie was upset when he left the band was because Jon and who ever it was the manager who ever had been recording Richie so one day when he came in for rehersal he seen and heard the recording of his stuff. Did you not watch that? Anyway I think it's both ego with both of them. I'm sure Richie could have put some thing's out that that would if caused a lot of problems in Jon's marriage but he didn't.

Jon has said over and over again that Snake was a neighborhood kid who was never going to be part of his band. He just had him until he could find his lead guitarist.

That's because after Richie seen jons documentary he was very upset that it wasn't quite right and that it painted Richie to be a drug addict and a alcoholic when that wasn't the only thing going on in Richie's life. Just like Jon came out and said he had other women and his wife upset they're probably a lot more women than any of y'all know about and they're probably alcohol drugs involved there too but no one is coming to snitch on anybody. So yes I think it's ego with Jon and Richie.

I pray and pray they both reconcile properly and do at least one last combined tour again. Hopefully more. Life is too short.

You’re taking two separate meetings and confusing them. What he says is true. He did approach jon in the first encounter. The second encounter is when Jon called him two weeks later and asked him to join.

Ever heard Paul Stanley’s account of Richie auditioning for Kiss? It’s different, and more believable than Richie’s egotistical BS.

I haven’t. Where did you hear? Sad he embellishes so much. He doesn’t need to. I wish I had his talents.
@secretgoldfish9312 ай бұрын
@@ChristopherRauschsorry for the late reply. There used to be audio clips of Paul Stanley’s autobiography on KZbin, but they appear to have been taken down. You can still find the text if you Google it though. Basically Paul says that Richie now says he didn’t really want the gig, but it’s hard to believe he flew out to LA because he liked airplane food. He notes that Richie says he was after something bluesier, but as much as Paul loves Bon Jovi, they don’t sit next to Howlin’ Wolf in his CD collection. Ouch. I love Richie, but he doesn’t come off well when he says things that just aren’t true.
PS Kiss: "Richie has always been a phenomenal guitarist!!!"....no fantasies without evidence

I said a little while ago that I could see this whole RS thing becoming very messy. The love will always be there, but the marriage is well and truly over. Just do you Richie!!
