Your HX Stomp tutorial demonstrating the many ways to integrate with a pedalboard is a masterpiece. So when I started looking into the Aeros, I knew where to search for what is yet another excellent explanation that covers the key aspects. Thanks for your time.

I'm strictly a live looper. I have an RC 600 that I'm always looking to replace with something more user-friendly with a smaller footprint that will still allow me to loop three song parts. I think I've finally found it. Thanks, Richie!

Got an AEROS about 6 months ago and haven’t really used it, found it easier to just record directly into Pro Tools, I’m glad you made an example using both together, gave me the inspiration to build a small pedal board for the Aeros + beat buddy, to lay down ideas and import into PT as you did... never thought of using like that, seemed like just more work, but I see how flexible and easy that might be now.... appreciate it...

Hi Richie - love the way you explain not just how things work, but what and why you might want to change things and relate them to the real world. You have the knowledge, application and of course, oodles of talent to do this stuff really really well - thanks

quite helpful Richie. I would love to see a video using the Aeros, beat buddy with extra pedal and the midi unit and how they all work together. By the way, I was on the Rock Legends Cruise 3 and saw BOC all three venues. It was great. So glad the band is on an endless tour. Cheers!

Fantastic run through Richie. And the Aeros is just sick. That Quantize feature should be in every looper - killer feature. But the price places it in a whole different catagory - not the looper for a casual user.

Yup, the Aeros is nice piec of tech, but, it’s a training device for shoe-gazers. I would definitely put this looper on a tabletop, just like my rc505. My big critique for this, and the Headrush looper, is the same: The Menu dive. On a live looper, it sucks. To mix, there are 3 actions BEFORE you can actually mix. This is not a problem at home... but, Menu diving during a set can be deadly, especially when/if there’s a sound problem (I know, it never happens to you). You can’t instantly access the unit’s features, which is a necessity live. Menu diving is for playing at home. For all its faults, and there are several, IMO there is no better UI on a looper than the RC-505. Separate controls for each track right in front of you, no menu diving to access your FX, redo/undo, and mix volumes. That said, I do wish the build on the 505 were as tank-like as the Aeros.

Nice! Quick question: are you powering your Aeros with the power supply that came with it or are you using a different power supply? I tried using Strymon's Zuma power supply but the Aeros wouldn't power on so I switched back to the provided power supply.

Hi! thanks for a great review. My question is how many songs can I store in the pedal or SD card? And it is posible to run through these songs or tracks, without hands? I mean, if I'm playing guitar, I'm not able to go to the touch screen to change the song... Thanks a lot in advance!! I'm searching for a great looper and is not easy to buy it here, in Barcelona, just to try and then return it, in case doesn't work for you. Thanks Richie!
@SingularSoundOfficial3 жыл бұрын
The recording time per song is about 30 minutes mono / 15 minutes stereo using the internal storage. With a 32 GB SD Card (not included) you can record 3 hours mono / 1 1/2 hours stereo and 48 hours mono / 24 hours stereo. You can navigate through the songs you create (hands free) with the two left buttons on the Aeros. Feel free to visit our KZbin channel for more info.

Hey Ritchie! Great Video! I ordered one of these because of your video! What are you using with your Line 6 to simulate that bass sound? Can I do that with my Helix? What about that Roland drum thing? Do you recommend that too?
@RichieCastellano2 жыл бұрын
Just an octave pedal in side the HX got the bass. That’s a Roland HPD 10 drum pad. It’s pretty old but I like it. I’m sure the new one blows it away

Hello Richie. I live in France I do not have a good grasp of the English language, so I hope the google translator will be correct. Very good demo of the Eros. I'm new to this material, it's not always easy for me. I hope you will make other demo videos as this machine evolves. I subscribed to your channel while waiting for the next videos. I've had one of these for a while. 2X2 mode is dead easy. Once you get comfortable with that, all the concepts transfer to 6X6. (There's also a HELP section that displays on the touch screen).

I am really on the fence between buying this or the Synthstrom Deluge. I'm more into guitar and less into electronic music but the S.D. has so many capabilities, plus it can be taken anywhere so as much as I was interested in this, I think the S.D. wins.

@twins10172 жыл бұрын
Why you don’t have beat buddy?
@christopher.hallissy3 жыл бұрын
Bought a beatbuddy and returned it. Singular Sound could have come up with one unit that handled drums and looping for a single price, but instead, they release a $300 drum pedal and a $600 looper that should be used with one another. Oh and don’t forget the specific midi cable you need to connect it to your controller. That’s another little money grab. If you visit the singular sound forums, they are full of folks who are still waiting (going on years) for the company to make good on feature promises they’ve made. I’d hold off on this for a bit. Even the Boss RC-5 has beats you can download to it and use to jam. May not be as flexible as this setup, but it’s also like $700 cheaper and has the reliability of a Boss product. I’d be willing to bet that Singular Sound sells this idea to Boss and you’ll never hear from them again.
