i love this thing. Got one from the first batch and i have to agree it's the best looper on the market. To get back to that track, hit next track til it cycles back. I think they're working on the midi to eventually navigate to what ever track you want.

also real fun to set it to 6/8 and then record different length loops, can get real trippy.

Just ordered one ,I cant wait the headrush looperboard was a total let down . Mine was glitchy as hell could never count in it for live performances because I couldn't count on it not freezing or just not working properly. It may have been my unit but I was really bummed I loved it when it worked .

this would be great to pair with one of the more archaic sequencer-less samplers of yore like an SP202, definitely gonna be keeping an eye out on the off chance one shows up used and cheap nearby

Don't know how I'm discovering this now. Amazing device. This demo was (as usual) incredibly easy to follow. You are a wonderful teacher Jeremy! I'm curious: I loved the vocal sample you used here, which I assume you assembled from scratch. Do you have any recommendations on finding vocal samples similar to this that are available for purchase?

Thanks for creating this vid. The only reason I’ve been holding off replacing my Boomerang looper with this one is because you can’t record a drum track (backing track) and keep that playing as I record alternate song parts. Have they fixed this? Any thoughts?
@mzmudy Жыл бұрын
It is fixed now. You can do a drum beat and highlight the part which means it will continue through all subsequent parts.

The Aeros can only be powered with a 9v power supply. You can use the Aux output to use headphones.
@MindfulProgramming4 жыл бұрын
If you need anything to be powered via USB or battery, check out Myvolts. they do a USB to 9v cable for pedals/gear. available in either polarities, and different Voltages/pin sizes for other gear 👍

Great rundown. Is it possible to change the pitch of loops? For instance taking a pad down 12 semi's so its double the length?
@niloben6592 жыл бұрын
Don't think so, it's not very experimental
@maunstermusic4 жыл бұрын
As for ideas of what to use it with, Having each track in the loop/part be a different TE device would be fun. Maybe give your self a BPM and a key and record then mute each new pass so you'd get odd/interesting layers and polyrhythmic fun.

Would you say it's better than the RC-505 and worth the extra hundred?
@RedMeansRecording4 жыл бұрын
The rc505 has effects. But I never really got along with it.
@ToyKeeper4 жыл бұрын
Really depends on personal style. If you want to make entire songs with just your voice and a looper, RC-505 would be the way to go. The built-in effects help a lot for turning a voice into different instruments. If you need an extra track and multiple sections more than you need effects though, the Aeros would be a better choice.
@MikeSheehan7274 жыл бұрын
I've got plenty of effects pedals already so it sounds like I'm going with the Aeros. thanks!

Mr. Fedor ehhh yeah I get that but as a matter of workflow, this looks slightly more integratable, having it on the floor is ideal for me as a stringed instrument player.

Looks to be much more powerful than the $500 rc505 though.
@Fedor_Tkachev_Music4 жыл бұрын
@@Terrible_Peril yeah, agree. Stomping an ipad would most likely break warranty) But for desktop use and for a person who's okay with touchscreen workflow I would go either with ipad or rc202 or 505
@Terrible_Peril4 жыл бұрын
Mr. Fedor hey I’ve definitely done it. I was using Loopy on an iPad Pro and controlling it with my toe (veerrrrry carefully). I have some muscular issues that made the risk of suddenly crushing it very real so I stopped. I’m still figuring out what workflows work best for me, especially with some new gear now in the mix.
This definitely doesn’t look like a beginners looper

While the Aneros certainly sees like a very popular and sexy little toy, this is a heluva sexy tool. I keep an aspirational folder of bookmarks called "gear lust" and never have I slammed something into a bookmark so hard.
