Heard so, so many great musicians live in the outdoors BUT the most astonishing set of my life, Richie Hawtin Live Pitch Festival 2020, 1 week before covid. Utterly unpredictable, totally thumping, his music is too fast for my usual taste but I was wrapped in an envelope of primal reactions and the 2 hours felt like 3 minutes. It was a reminder of the darkness and light of human spirit and there was an overwhelming sense that it was done just for us and will never happen again. Truly astonishing...the man is a God...
