That is so crazy! I pass by this mall every day to work lol Last time I was able to go inside was 2019 when I was trying to find the movie theater (when it was still open.) I was shocked how abandoned it was and falling apart. Thanks for the video!!

2023 UPDATE: The mall is permanently closed with the exception of Barnes & Noble which will be leaving that site and moving early 2024 to Garners Ferry Road Southeastern(new owners) plans to erect more than 500 apartments, new restaurants and retail space, including a grocery store and a brewery, as well as a city park.

Thanks for the update, looks like some big plans ahead. Hope this will be a good move, and boost the economy in that area too.From what i seen the building is in pretty bad shape. I may go back and do one las walk around before the demo starts.

There are multiple videos concerning this mall, the best being from SAL and Aces Adventures. It’s a fascinating place, but you will not get in unless you plan on entering illegally.

They are going to keep Belks and Barnes and Noble as anchor stores and adding a grocery store among others.
