Richmond 24

Richmond 24 is a new short film from the makers of the award-winning cycling documentary Ripcor:Riding With Mamils. It follows two cyclists as they push their bodies to the limit to become the first people to cycle around Richmond Park for 24 hours - non-stop. Shot over the weekend of the Summer Solstice in June 2016 the film documents this incredible challenge; the blood,the sweat and the tears. The teamwork, laughter and champagne.
The challenge was not only an opportunity to set a unique cycling record. It was also to raise awareness and much needed funds for The PACE Centre, a charity Ripcor has supported for 10 years, that provides an innovative education for life to children with sensory motor disorders.

Nice film! Congrats on the challenge. Especially like this one as I grew up on Priory Lane and used to do laps of the park on my Peugeot Premiere in the days when cycling wasn't quite as popular as it is now. I'm always looking for my next challenge and fancy another 24 hour one (Did Manchester to London in 24 hours in 2013, and London to Paris in 24 Hours in 2018) although I suspect getting permission to ride the park through the night might be challenging. Anyhow Chapeau to you and your team and for all the money you've raised for such a worthwhile cause. Keep pedalling!
