The word deer came from deor, which is Old English for a beast. The reason deer got their name in the Late Middle Ages is because they were the favorite animal of the chase. The chase meant the pastime of hunting wild animals for sport back then. Can you believe that?

When you've killed the animal, what do you do with its corpse? Do you sell it on for meat or?

If the animal is culled by the landowner the animal is graloched and skinned. If the animal turns out to be free of Tb or other diseases the carcass can be sold to the public red stag carcasses will most definitely be sold as they can make very good money. If the animal is taken by a paying client the either later will happen or the client can pay to take the carcuss.

The "horned king of richmond park" is far from impressed by these pathetic beta stags. Great film but you missed the boss, fortunately I found and filmed him just the other day...check it out using the title in quotes.
