Dan what would be a reason why a borg warner super t10 in an 1981 lg4 transam oe equip would have an issue of: the shift from 1-2, or the shift from 3-2 is difficult at the start of driving. Difficult means the shifter does not want to let you put the trans in gear. If you ease up pressure after trying to put it in and try again, usually it will go in. If you try to rev match it is likely to go in. Then after you have been driving the car at least 10 mins, and if you keep driving longer it keeps becoming more normal? The shifts the rest of the drive become normal? Can you imagine what could be causing this? After reading around I thought maybe someone put in a too slippery gear oil in it. but I put in amsoil 90w dino oil and drove for a week, then drained it and put same in again, and it didnt cure it, it might have made it a little better. I only had car 6 mos and it has been like this from day 1. Any ideas?

Thank you for this video. I am going to rebuild my super T10 shortly as I took the cover off and the 3rd and 4th gear synchro's, the teeth are a bit rounded and short. Everything else seems to be OK but I might as well do a rebuild. Where would be the best place to buy the rebuild kit as I want to get the best possible kit out there because I am going to put it behind a chevy 383 stroker?
