Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29. I witnessed both shows at the venue. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue. Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video. After this grave opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 02:28 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌ ps. I managed to get tickets to the shows in April. 😍

I traveled from Melbourne to Japan to see this performance, and it was worth every cent it cost me to be there. Easily the most epic concert I have ever been to. I legit got chills seeing and hearing Su and Moa perform this song; they are even more charismatic in person than they are on video. Seeing Babymetal live in Japan is a bucket list experience that you need to do at least once. Favourite BM song: Yava! Favourite live performance: Shine at legend M

Great reaction my friend! Fully agree with you, Su's vocals have matured in to a thing of beauty. BABYMETAL's production value and concerts are completely next level. Definitely on my bucket list to see them perform at home in Japan. There will definitely be some Kitsune's in the comments who were at these concerts... by all accounts they went off! Thoroughly enjoying your reactions. Favourite live is hard to pick... definitely recommend Rondo of Nightmare ( with Mischiefs of Metal Gods intro) live at Budokan Black Night, or Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 Apocalypse... seriously too many to choose from. Nice reaction. Babymetal knows how to do Epic level performances. Many have asked what's your favorite Babymetal song. Often the answer is whatever the last song I heard by them. Su-metal tells us "Don't Think, Feel". With that in mind. The last song you heard by them becomes your favorite at the moment because of the way it made you feel. A hard thing to achieve for a band. I call it Babymetal magic. Passed on to them by magic metal Elfs. Su looked so impressive from her throne. Stage presence has always been a big part of Babymetals magic. Moa leads the royal guard. and the One. Babymetal fans. Part of the dynamic of Babymetal is Su as the lead singer the crowd is supposed to listen to her. While when Moa sings the crowd joins in. Moa has said she gets nervous being the lead singer. But it seems she has no problem leading thousands and thousands of people singing. That's Moa's magic. This performance we get all of that as they make their Majestic return to their metal Kingdom. The stage in front of a live audience. Where Babymetal belongs.

Great reaction. 'Metal Kingdom' is the opening track on the album (being released 24th March) - so of course they used it for the epic theatrical opening number at their concerts two weeks ago - their first live shows in nearly 2 years. Those were at the Makurahi Messe, 2 nights sold out in minutes, about 15k people each night. This was the live performance but with the studio audio - the video was released less than a week after the concerts they filmed it at, so it is understandable why it has the studio audio. We will have to wait for the DVD for the live audio.

I wish they would take this show on the road to stadiums and large arenas, they would certainly sell out, even non Babymetal fans still like to see an amazing show. With ticket prices and how difficult they can be to get I think the public will demand more than the typical concert experience going forward. I would also like to see them do shows in Aus since they aren't likely to come to NZ I would jump on a flight to see them.

You are not the only one finding GOT resemblance on this stage setup, it just looks insane. The ten prophets are holding crosiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol OO and is the title of upcoming 4th album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny or Lance Of Longinus from Evangelion anime series, if you know MoaMetal you know you gotta be careful with her. 🔱 Here's some official info about this song: METAL KINGDOM (THRONE) _It is a powerful anthem ushering in the beginning of a new era while also representing the power and courage to step forward into uncharted territory. The track conveys imagery of one rising powerfully from the throne of silence, with a suitable fanfare announcing this new beginning._ At the end of January, at Makuhari Messe, they held two big live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they meet up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production. SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. Those freaking cinematic drone shots making you feel like you're in a movie. We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound. We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1st (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK. There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better. "Metal Kingdom" is the epic album and live show opener. Although this MV has the studio version of the audio. To listen to the actual live audio we need to wait until they broadcast a recording of the shows on WOWOW on Saturday, March 25 at 8 PM (JST). I've seen them in Australia and Japan, and while the smaller shows are cool because you can get close to the stage and interact with all three super ladies, the shows in Japan are on another level that is very hard to describe with the written word.
