Great reaction! Su is usually an innocent, goofy, and gentle woman, but when she goes on stage, she reigns supreme as SU-METAL, the absolute queen of the stage.

Wasn't too interested in this track until I heard it in a concert. It puts you in a trance and absolutely slaps live. Felt like they were preparing the audience to go march into battle. It was crazy.

I don't have a link, but if you get the chance, please check out the intro song "In the Name of" from the "Legend S" show. It's the epitome in terms of stage production, in my opinion, and not just with regard to BABYMETAL.

The whole show is in my opinion is the most EPIC stage production I have ever seen, the amount of effort put into it is astounding. "In The Name Of" is a master class on how to open a show. **Edit** I have put a link to "ITNO" with my comment directly to the guys, check it out there.

"In The Name Of" from Legend S was definitely the best opening from their concerts. Sadly that is not available in YT. But atleast we have the Budokan 2021 available. Just a let down that they didn't watch "No Rain No Rainbow" from the concert Legend S. That is PROBABLY the only track from the show that is available in YT.

Her Majesty the Queen encouraged the people of the Metal Kingdom to embark on a new journey to freedom. The concert of the new BABYMETAL started with this song. We sang loudly together, it was an amazing experience! I was so happy 😁.

This was the opening song at Clear Night on April 2nd 2023 at PIA Arena, so this was actually Momo's first song as a full member of Babymetal after it was announced that she would be the new member of Babymetal the previous night. The video doesn't show it very well, but the throne actually rose up out of the stage as the intro played with Babymetal seated on them. It was the reintroduction of the new reborn Babymetal in all their glory. I was there for this performance and it was absolutely spine tingling to witness first hand. Being part of the a crowd of 12,000 people all chanting the "Oh oh oh ohhhh!" and holding up the Fox Sign at once was such an experience. All the staging a PIA Arena was on hydraulics, so stage elements could move up and down and crew members could change stage elements out of sight of the crowd during the performance. This is one of my favourite Babymetal songs because it allows Su-metal to just let rip and flex her full vocal prowess and show why she is the Queen. She has spent her whole life honing her skills as a singer and these kinds of performances are results of all that effort and talent. We don't really know anything about how they are paid. We know they are all contracted Amuse talents, but beyond that it's anyone's guess. I certainly hope they are making bank because the amount of effort they put into what they do, they deserve it. Su-metal is the undisputed star of the show. She is the reason that Babymetal exists. It was seeing her perform as an 11 year old that inspired Kobametal to create Babymetal with her as the centerpiece. Moa has always said that she is happy with her role in the group and has demurred from taking on more vocal duties, preferring to focus mostly on her dancing. She greatly admires Su-metal and often talks about how much she likes to hear Su-metal sing. Momoko has said in the past that she wanted to be a back up dancer for a major artist, so she has exceeded her own goals by becoming a part of a major artist, and I would assume that she is happy with her role too.

Great reaction. 'Metal Kingdom is the opening track and intro for the album 'The Other One' they released last March. They used it for another epic, theatrical opening before this. That was at their 'BABYMETAL Returns' concerts in January last year (their first live concerts in nearly 2 years), but one of the thrones was empty, Su and Moa appeared in theirs, they had not yet revealed a new third member. This time it was the opening number for the second night at their next big concerts just after the album release on 1st and 2nd April - 'BABYMETAL Begins'. This song heralded the start of the new era of the "new" BABYMETAL ... the 3 thrones and this time all 3 occupied since at the end of the first night Momometal had finally been revealed as the third official member. This was her first song since then. You got it (of course you did, they make you feel the meaning of their songs), this is a very inspirational song. I have no idea who might get paid what, but they see each other as equals, each with their own equally important role within the group. Many of us naturally focus on Su-metal's incredible vocals and BABYMETAL was formed around her talents, but Moametal and Momometal (and formerly Yuimetal of course) are crucial to making BABYMETAL unique and standout.🦊🦊🦊

This is easily the best performance of this song. The stage, the set pieces, Su's voice, everything came together at this performance and made it a spine-tingling experience that's just amazing to witness. I still can't believe how it's possible to be this incredible while being completely live. This rivals Broadway shows where they've rehearsed for months and done the exact same show every day for weeks and months. Another fantastic reaction, guys. Thank you!

Who knows truly how they all get paid, I just hope they're all very well off at this point! So, you have Su. Her voice was always very powerful with great range when she was young .. but now her voice has matured and she's been practicing a ton. She's one of my favorite singers currently. Then you have Moa and Momo and I think this is where folks have a disconnect (NOT you guys) because they "just dance". These ladies are true athletes in my eyes, to have that much cardio and fitness and hundreds of hours of practice to do so much energetic strenuous dancing for 90 minutes a show .. folks do NOT understand how much skill that takes! They are all amazing! That being said. The actual choreo to this song is way more hardcore when they perform it live without the stage production (thrones and tridents) One more edit! You mentioned the crowd trying to steal the show .. well the majority of Babymetal songs, especially this one, are crafted carefully to include the crowd with chants and or easy choreo to copy ...they want the crowd to feel like they are PART of the show and not just there watching a show. It's a powerful feeling and they nail it!

The best thing about seeing a BABYMETAL concert in Japan is that people are very respectful, and there's people looking to make sure that no one has their phone out, unless of course Su-metal tells you to.

Awesome, this song is absolutely epic. And, even more so, this was THE very first performance with Momometal as an official 3rd member. She was announced at the end of the previous day's show. This song kick started the "new Babymetal" with three bad ass metal queens leading the charge from their metal thrones haha. What an epic way to start their intense ~100 show tour in 2023 with renewed vigor! 🤘🦊

This was the first show that MoMo was officially a member of BabyMetal notice that she has now got a microphone . BabyMetal does not do meet or greet . So fans will get a picture in small shows they interact with fans giving them a chance to take something away special to them . Moa sat on edge of stage at one show. I was at a short distance away, and I was in such a rush to capture the moment I pressed the stop button and went home with just the memory. We are not trying to leech. we are just trying to capture a special moment . Fans around the world give incredible support to BabyMetal, but you never see it These shows are rarely recorded and broadcast. If you're impressed by the production of this, you need to checkout In The Name Of from Legend S Baptism XX concert.... It was Su's 20th bday concert in her home town of Hiroshima, and I think Amuse just gave Koba a blank cheque and told him to do whatever he wanted. If Su DOES make more, I don't know that it is much more. Su may be the focal point, but from what I understand Moa does a crapload of behind the scenes stuff like help in creating the choreo and organizing things, so I think they maybe a bit more equal in terms of pay. And who knows if Momo is doing anything extra as well.

@@jeremyboynowski3784 I have no inside knowledge. But what they do doesn't matter that much compared to how much revenue they are responsible for and how they negotiate their contract. It is really clear that Amuse is focusing on Su's vocals more than ever. In fact some fans complained that The Other One was a Suzuka Nakamoto solo album. It is clear where the revenue is coming from and assuming Su had a fairly recent contract negotiation I imagine she would have been coming from a place of strength and be getting a pretty good payday. Moa is fantastic but in bottom line terms no Su means no Babymetal. Not to mention that Su could probably be the vocalist or a guest vocalist for a number of bands so she is no longer locked into the Japanese system at her next contract renewal. I've seen Su's net worth estimated at $3-5m USD but that is certainly pure guess.

I'm not sure what you mean. Su, Yui and Moa all signed with Amuse, Inc. in 2007, joined Sakura Gakuin in 2010, and started doing BABYMETAL later that year. Of course Momoko joined all of those things later.

Moa and Momo are essential. We all know the concept of BabyMetal hinged on Su's singing, but BabyMetal wouldn't be BabyMetal without everyone involved. Moa and Momo are both great singers, but they chose to focus on the roles they occupy with no interest in stepping into Su's shoes. You haven't seen Moa's performance of Black BabyMetal songs during the tenth anniversary show, but it proves she could definitely front a band. All the girls ooze charisma and stage presence. Moa and Momo don't dance because they can't sing, they dance because that's what makes BabyMetal what it is. Together, they are BabyMetal. Another great reaction guys and I implore you to witness a BabyMetal live show when you can. It’s like no other concert I’ve ever seen. Once you have seen a BM concert, you realise what a major role Moa and Momo play in the whole BM experience. I too used to think that Su carried the show but seeing it live, I barely looked at her. Despite the Kami band tearing it up and Su’s soaring vocals, my eyes were drawn to the two M’s for the bulk of the performance. They are amazingly athletic and didn’t slow down or go out of synchronicity once. If they weren’t there, it would feel more like a traditional concert but with the choreography, the entertainment value is heightened. Keep up the great work, I’m really enjoying your videos.

"They were hired in different moments…" The original BABYMETAL members Suzuka (Su), Moa and Yui joined Sakura Gakuin in 2010, and all joined BABYMETAL a few months later. All three signed with the parent company Amuse, Inc. in 2007. The only exception is Momoko, who signed with Amuse in 2014 and joined Sakura Gakuin in 2015. She supported BABYMETAL as a dancer since 2019, and became an official member in 2023.

I would imagine all three have their own personal agent and would negotiate contracts with AMUSE individually. Assuming they also get royalties as part of their contracts it would be difficult to believe Momo gets as much as the other two because of the four albums that Su and Moa recorded before Momo joined the band. However this is just my guess, nobody except those involved know the truth

Regarding jealousy among the group… It took FIVE YEARS to finally substitute Yui-metal, the Tomato Princess, the Angel of Dance. They were THAT emotionally implicated among them. They don’t think of themselves as “Star Singer” and ‘The support dancers”, it’s been like that since they were in Sakura Gakuin as little girls 😊 Other groups, one guitar leaves, next week there’s a new one, nobody cares much.

I'm surprised you haven't done Night Night Burn yet to continue your tour around the cultural world with BABYMETAL. 🤘🦊🤘 As someone else suggested, you should also check out some Black BABYMETAL songs with Moa and Yui, and or just Moa as she can handle it just fine on her own. Did you notice the center stage rose up and came back down? Not the first performance of this song, first one was right before Momo was officially the third member, so still only Su and Moa were the focal point/onstage. No one knows how much they make to make any sort of guess. At all. Any estimation is just a broad guess. Most of us are probably curious as to just how much they get but no one knows unless they come out and say

@@chuckhall4831 no, this is known for sure. and for every year and every month throughout the existence of Babymetal. The girls' earnings (all together) range from 310k to 400k per year. These are OFFICIAL numbers. Unfortunately, there is no information on how this money is distributed between them, but it is known that Suzuka Nakamoto had 3 million dollars in her account in 2021, and Moa had almost 2. Unfortunately YT removes links, but you can easily find it.

👍 👍 Good question concerning pay scale between members (I honestly have no clue), however if you continue this journey you will see the tremendous importance of Moa Kikuchi: Solo performances- Taking lead on Headbanger on her 20th birthday (Moabanger) Solo performances below Onedari Daisakusen LIVE at Budokan 2021 (originally a duo with Moa and Yui Mizuno) GJ! (Good Job!) LIVE at Budokan 2021 (also originally a duo Yui) Along with her contributions concerning vocals and choreography (she is a fan favorite) Now Momoko is making a mark on BABYMETAL in her own way.

Well we get the impression that Su has a higher base sakary. Her Position is so unique that it determines the base bargaining position of the whole band. Babymetal did their best to hide the exact salaries even from Amuse. In the beginning their salaries were ridiculous small, but it is understandable. You needed so many additional stuff and it came all out of their pockets.
