I really like the part when Morty has given a choice if he would rather risk his life to call for help or rather he would restart the whole situation all over again. He choose to try dying because he knows that even if he did die, he died knowing that he have found someone to love that also loved him back without the help of Rick or Rick's gadget. Instead of just restarting their relationship from the very beginning and facing a person who he fell in love with but didn't even know who he is.

Technically Rick and morty aren’t in the same reality they entered in Rick potion #9 because in morty’s mind blowers Rick says they have to move to another reality after morty angers the squirrels and seeing how many times morty’s mind has been erased and all the adventures we haven’t seen they could have moved realities multiple times and have buried multiple ricks and morty’s which could explain morty becoming more outspoken and confident he’s becoming more like Rick

I'm not sure if they give an explanation for why there's only a few realities for them to slip into that are similar to their own despite there being an infinite number of them, but I always thought of it as being more an issue of finding those realities among all the others. Like how prime numbers become more and more difficult to find at you get further from zero.
@caliph954 жыл бұрын
I think that was just a meta joke than any real rule about realities
@Pir-o4 жыл бұрын
Cause having unlimited realities would compliantly remove the stakes from every story they want to tell cause they can just skip to another world over and over again. Having a limitation was needed. So you can just assume that there are uncounted amounts of realities but only some of them have actual humans, similar earth and Rick and Morty.
@6thlayervessel6374 жыл бұрын
@@Pir-o I agree that there needed to be a reason preventing them from being able to just abort their reality for another one any time they want from a writing perspective so as to maintain the stakes of the story. However they explicitly say that there are an infinite amount of realities while also saying that there are only a few realities which adequately provide an alternate to their own. These statements are fundamentally contradictory. It's not sufficient to just say, "Oh, we can't do this," in order to preserve an audience's investment in the story while also giving information which gives every reason to why they can. This is why I suggested that when Rick says there's only a few realities for them to slip into what he really means is that there's only a few realities that he has currently identified for them to slip into, and that perhaps with each one he finds it becomes more difficult to find another similarly to prime numbers.
@davidnobre1714 жыл бұрын
There isn't infinite Rick's. During the episode were Rick c137 is suspected to have killed the other Rick's they say something along the lines of "from all the Rick's in the finite curve you're the mal-content"
@6thlayervessel6374 жыл бұрын
@@davidnobre171 I do recall something like that so I just looked it up casually on the wiki and some reddit posts. From what I can gather there isn't really any explanation for what the central finite curve is or what that means, so for all we know it's just some grouping of realities out of the realities which have been examined. I haven't read anything about it to imply it contains a grouping of realities taken from all realities or that there are a finite amount of realities or a finite amount of Ricks. I would be curious though if there is an explanation of what the central finite curve is somewhere. But regardless, Rick says multiple times in very explicit terms that there are infinite realities, I don't see why a single remark has more merit than that, especially if we don't even know what it means.

I would definitely try everything on the menu, and have 30 different conversations and really get to know the people I'm at the restaurant with. Then at the end, redo the best meal and best conversation and make those canon.

I swear, this is probably the funniest episode of the series. I can't remember laughing harder than I did during any other episode.

Rick and Morty didn't kill the Rick and Morty of the universe that they're currently in, they were building a machine and it exploded in their faces killing them .

This is one of the greatest episodes of the show because it's got some funny moments but the core of the episode is raw emotion.

aww, did they skip the blazing row where Morty caused Rick to lose his temper? cos that was my favourite bit
@bubblegumteeefee67174 жыл бұрын
To clarify and help explain why that montage was so long was because for some odd reason the creators had 5 minutes of the video that they needed for a full episode so a writer put that whole thing for a regular 23 min or so long episode and that's why there was no dialogue because it was a squeezed in part
@ShadowWolf19824 жыл бұрын
dont forget they jumped another reality when Morty went all Dr. Dolittle and Rick had to zap all the squirrels

You know, during the montage I was waiting for Rick to do something to help Morty, but now I realize he was immortal for the time being.

This episode kinda reminds me of South Park’s “Scott Tenorman Must Die”. Like Cartman, Rick does something incredibly evil for the pettiest of reasons. It’s fucking brilliant.

One of the best episodes period. Only thing I wonder is why Morty didn't use the remote during the whole time he was in the relationship with the girl.

This end of this episode reminded me of that doctor who episode “The forest of the dead” when the simulation husband of Donna Noble couldn’t call to Donna cos of his lisp, like how Mortys girlfriend was about to stop him from jumping in the acid but was too late

Yo do you realize that morty trying to jump over the manhole is an example old side scrollers where noobs try to figure out how to jump over river you keep dying then finally you make it to the next screen scroll, dye immediately in a new challenge and have to start over from the last check point which is before the first hurdle itself

plane crash was inspired by a true incident happened in the 70s. uruguan rugby team carrying plane, crashed in the andies mountain. they (people who survived the crash) had to survive 3 months in the freezing cold while eating few cans of cheese then some leather boots when all that ran out they ate people who had died during the crash. after 3 months waiting 2 of them went to seek help and after a horrible journey across the andies they found help and came for others by a helicopter.
