@theholymackerel4639 that's not an AI thing, that's just psychopathy in general. A lot of people make AI out to be an evil thing because they don't believe that AI would value our lives, and yet I'd say most humans value each other's lives and the lives of other living beings such as birds, mammals, reptiles, plants, etc. Being afraid of AI is the same as being afraid of psychopaths, but psychopaths don't kill indiscriminately because they know it isn't in their own best interest, i.e. they can't get away with it.

BTW, if the car had enough power to slice 'n dice a dude, gestate a clone, and potentially destroy a whole army, was it REALLY all that necessary for Rick to go sort out his battery problem right then? Seems like just flying back to a safe parking space would have used less power than all that.

this scene hit me right in the spot where it hurts the most... and the pain that I was feeling while crying felt like I was being stabbed with a Knife... 😔😢

This scene is especially funny (and disturbing) when you remember this the AI’s voice is based on Diane’s (aka Summer’s grandmother)

Whoever did that police chief's voice deserves an award for that performance, holy shit

Keep in mind that during all of this, the microverse battery is not working. So this ship is able to: - kill one guy - paralyze another guy - create and melt a replica of someone's child - potentially destroy an entire army - broker peace between humans and giant spiders all while it's primary power supply is offline.

Pretty sure Rick has played portal after seeing that cold, logical snark from his ship AI

I think the paralyzed guy is the hardest scene for me to watch from the whole series. Never shows real signs of violence and is now paralyzed forever as a punishment.

I love the seats with holes in them and stuff stickin out..

"That's you. That's how you talk." 😂😂😂 I should watch this show but youtube clips are good enough for me I guess.

One of my favorite episodes. KEEP SUMMER SAFE.

Since the AI is based on the voice (and probably personality) of Rick's wife, this whole scene is basically Summer getting dissed by her own grandma

I just love how the ship just traumatized summer

All I’m saying is that first guy was weirdly aggressive and I can see why the ship took that as a threat. If he wasn’t a weirdo that just walked up to a car with a teen girl being the only person inside it, then starts pounding on the glass because she is scared, then none of this would have happened.

Chilling how the car has such a GLaDOS vibe…sarcastic and commentary, but overall cold to absolute Zero temperatures

2:48 Holy crap, "That's you, that's how you talk." Is that a Portal reference?

That ship not only protected Summer but also the not dead father’s daughter, the way the pediatrician acted around summer is a bit sus, also pediatricians work exclusively with children, so yeah.

I have a hard time believing that guy was a pediatrician.

"Daughters pediatrician" 😂. The guy banging on an alien vehicle while being unreasonbily aggressive. Traits we would obviously see in personal specialzing in treating children.

Is this summers moment of realization? Cuz she got progressively more badass from this moment on.
