Thank you so much for Rick Butz videos! I have 2 of his books but have never seen his videos. Being self taught carver these are great to watch

This reminds me of the PBS style Arts & Craft shows from the 70’s! Really pleasant and well done. Thanks!

Is this The Joy Of Carving with Rick Butz where he carves a figure in 30 minutes?

I had to train my cat to leave them alone. It went from my front step to who knows where. He was cute. Enjoy your video thank you

No doubt you are a great carver with a very nice personality. But you don’t really show a debutante like me where to cut step by step into the wood and I personally can only learn very little about carving and a lot about animals and nature. Thank you , Rick !

Dan, thanks for sharing these oldies. I love em. I'm 75YO so I remember him from back in the day. I had a bunch of his VHS tapes but chunked them along the way when I saw no hope of converting them -- one of my many bad decisions. Is he still Living?

I like the pace and the background stories. I've also learned some good techniques I wouldn't have thought of. Just curious: Why is Rick Butz on Dan Cuomo's KZbin channel?
@dancuomo30746 жыл бұрын
I own some DVDs and decided to burn them on to the computer and upload them to KZbin.

@@rrr579123 Some people can't appreciate older stuff, a lot of the old woodworking and home improvement shows were way better than the newer ones on TV today.
@rrr5791235 жыл бұрын
Tristan Van Pelt I love this old show. Happy to see it again.
@batarang875 жыл бұрын
@@rrr579123 I want to see more of the older shows become available for streaming. I have This Old House Insider, so I can watch all those old shows, they're currently adding all of The New Yankee Workshop to it. I would love to be able to watch Rick Butz, The Woodwright's Shop and Hometime in a similar fashion.
