She passed away December of 2022 at the age of 90. She and David divorced in 1973. He remarried, she never did.

It’s funny reading one of the comments for this video. Like the reason, Harriet acts excited is because if you notice in all the outtakes, she was always holding her grandchildren so I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say she was pretty good with children and very good with grandchildren Which if I’m not mistaken, have had nothing but very witty intelligent things to say about her I mean, the truth be told Ozzie and Harriet were both before they ever met each other go-getters.

Yes. David & Ricky Nelson, even though they were probably older than your mom, will forever be thought of as the young sons of Ozzie & Harriet Nelson. Ricky actually died at a fairly young age, only 45 years old, when the private plane in which he was flying to a New Year's concert caught fire . But Dave lived to be 74 years old, six years longer than was his father, Ozzie, who was just 68 years old when he died. Both died of colon cancer, so something to be said for genetics and disease.

Ozzie actually passed from liver cancer at the age of 69.

Some things never change. Gotta be on TV to get a visit from your children. It's as if they hadn't seen each other in years. Harriet grabbed who she believed was a small grandchild, now a walking, talking, little boy. Love this but don't like the estranged look about it...guess who as if they were in the military.😳

Please...even the wives of the guys were on the tv show! Of course they knew who everyone was...come on! They worked together all week! She was surprised they joined them on the set for their wedding anniversary! That was unexpected! 😊 A lovely surprise!
