I love how throughout this show, we see Rick change. As we see him go through many hardships, and lose many people, he hardens. He becomes wiser, and more ruthless. It's sad, seeing the old Rick, who believed in not killing the living, and always tried a peaceful approach first, turn into a man who doesn't bat an eye about shooting people. Although, I don't blame him. After everything he's been through and seen, I too would do whatever it takes. There has been moments when Rick lost everything in seconds, but he kept pushing forward. And something else I love, is how much Rick cared for his family. He loved them all the same, even though he wasn't related to most of them. He's lost himself so many times, but his family has always been there to remind him who he was, and what he was fighting for. He killed for them, hell, he died for them! After everything he's done for them, and everything he's lost, after all the pain he's been through, it was finally his time to rest. He did his part to help, and lead them, and now it's left to his family to cherish his memory, and carry on his legacy Thank you Andrew Lincoln. May Rick Grimes finally rest

One of my favorite things about Rick is that he treats his people like family. He has killed and done horrible things. He doesn’t even know how many people he’s killed, but he knows why they’re all dead. It’s so his family can be alive. It was fitting for him to sacrifice his own life to save his family, the ones he had been fighting for since the beginning. Thank you, and god bless you Rick Grimes.
