I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Rick, but I look forward to the day that happens. This was delightful to listen to; one of my favorites so far.

Awesome interview Jeff and Rick! Alex Bieche lives 20 minutes up the road from me. And yes, he has some very nice birds for sure.

Very nice...and long...interview. Enjoyed it a lot. Took a couple days to watch it but thoroughly enjoyed it. Rick has a lot of great insights on how to do things. I enjoyed hearing the differences in racing in Texas vs Washington.

Great interview as usual. I met Rick at our combine picnic, walked away thinking “he knows” pigeons. Been around a lot of pigeon people and you can tell the ones that been in the game 30 years and still don’t know shit. Rick is not that guy! I have 4 birds in The Apple cup as I type this now!!!

Rick is top-notch. I know both Rick and Jerry Heilman (who my Devriendts came from, by the way) and never knew they were related! He mentions Lysine in the water. In addition to its benefits against herpes, Lysine is considered essential for Avian nutrition. Lysine is widely used among good poultry breeders as most manufactured feeds are deficient in it (and also in Methionine).
