Roufous probablemente es el mejor Kickboxer de la historia, la condición física, las increíbles patadas, un tremendo boxeo, una explosión, velocidad y creatividad, pero en las modalidades con Low kick hizo agua, subir de peso no le sentó para nada bien, perdió su mejor arma que eran las patadas, y obviamente ya no era un pibe avanzado los 90. Así y todo la locura por competir en toda modalidad posible hasta que la edad le dijo basta, es el kickboxer completo, salvo porque nunca aprendió a cubrirse de las low y tampoco las ejecutaba.

That's just silly. Had Rick been training low kicks since a young age things would have been very different. His skill-sets were honed to the rules of a few North American kickboxing organisations. Low kicks were not a huge thing here in the 1970s and 1980s, even early 1990s. Imagine Roufus with leg kicks? He would have been one of the best K-1 fighters. Plus, he wasn't a spring chicken in the 1990s.

@turntablesrockmyworld9315 Excuses Excuses Excuses. No one forced Rick to fight low kicks . He took the fight because he wanted to show he can defeat Thai Boxers . Hey in all fairness Thais can kick but they are not good at boxing because in Thailand kick gets most points. Punching Rick has advantage. Kicking thais have advantage. North American kickboxing is all hands . East met west . East kicked arse . Rick Rofus only has hands. Not enough to beat Thais . Unless lucky punch lands .

@@rezaburapa3263 No excuses but it hard to expect someone in their 30s at the time, and at the end of their career to suddenly train and compete this way. This takes years of conditioning and training to add leg kicks at that level.
