I watched him perform with Cory Hart when I was 15, I fell in love with him then, have loved him ever since. I have seen him several more times in concert and he always puts on an excellent show, remains beautiful and I will always love him.

Great book, I seen him in a concert at Radio City Music Hall, and I never even thought he was anywhere near depressed. He's right, you always think that being a celebrity your above it all. We're all human, and as he wrote in his song, "We all need the Human Touch. Rock on Rick and doubt yourself.

A true ICON. Read the book. That story about leaving his dog behind is one of the saddest stories anyone can ever read about.

Rick, the book is amazing. I enjoyed so many parts & the Ronnie shirt fitting incident at the store cracked me up... then I started to cry which was so weird . The book really is really deep & touches your heart. I keep thinking about what I read. That's some pretty honest stuff that you let us in on. I've been a fan since 'Speak to the sky' days & I am still enjoying all the concerts when you play in L.A. Looking forward to having the book signed when you are in Costa Mesa! :) Deb

After the Zoot disaster we in Australia saw Rick as a bit of a lightweight but I was wrong. His love for his dog touched me especially when he wasn't afraid to discuss it openly.

Man, I lost my dog at 6 years old, I later found out that a neighbor had come into our yard, took Jager off his chain, took him home and shot him.... because he posed in his yard! I never really got over that and have had dogs my whole life. Rick is a really nice guy, seen him in concert about 20 times, my wife, around 200! Yep, we're fans!

Great book; I'm just about finished. Refreshing for somebody this famous, to be so honest with his life. He was a real 'asshole' during his life; according to Rick. Treated people like crap for his own selfish needs. As long as people recognize that they are doing 'wrong' and try to change, then there is hope after all. Nice job, Mr. Springthorpe! Mr. D needs to take a flying leap off the Eiffel Tower, man!!
