Rick Springfield deserves so much more credit than received. He never wanted to be a teen idol, but is one of the best looking guys in music and had to go with the flow of the music business. But being Dr. Noah Drake was a blessing in disguise. Props for his hard work and perserverence.

Myself I am a 60 year old man now bur back in the 1980s rick Springfield was truly amazing he did so much to bring pop into his world with a bang too MTV had lot's of impact on what music stars made it and why some didn't the decade of them grand 80s is still in everyone who refused to let age grind us down you are only old as you feel and for me I'm going to rock on until my life ends it's hard to express how music can bring you into another plane of existence all I can say is be true to thine ownself and let them memories live with others who appreciate music at its best I hope MTV and vh-1 will always know it's the artist who got them where they are now ok.

Was never a huge fan of Rick but this song I never hated, and it always drew me back in because of that one line “love hurts when only one’s in love.” I’m going through that now, except she’s the one still in love and I’m not anymore, I used to be, but my feelings evaporated. It’s just as bad being the one doing the shooting down than being shot down because you don’t want to hurt them, because you loved them. Anyways, I thought of that lyric this morning because of my situation and went to this song. I never realized how much I liked it until now. I never gave this song enough of a listen to realize how good it was all around.

80s had the best music ever. I grew up with all these people on the radio. The good ol days, man. I miss the shit outta those days. I had a lot of fun. I remember Madonna came out with Crazy For You, 1st time I ever had sex that song was playing :O , Damn forever ago even though it doesn't seem that long ago.
