The voice and the music bring back many wonderful memories of growing up in the 80s. The music and concerts were the best parts of growing up for me and the mad crush I had on Rick. Ahh yes, brings back memories of the good 'ol days when I was in a hard working cover band in the 1980's. Our singer told us there was several request to play this song and BTW we have about a 1/2 hour to learn it (lol). At this point we've learned about 200 songs so we managed to figure this out pretty quickly. We pulled it off and had a great time while doing it. If you were part of the 1980's, you know what i'm talking about. What a party.

i am alive because of ricks music . i met him at 15 yrs old . he hung out an hour with me . the tao tour . last sept. , i talked to him again and brought the shirt and picture of us from 1985 . he autographed them and also the shirt i was gonna wear that night . i waited 36 years for that moment . i am on mental disability . i did not get to tell him that i suffer from severe depression like he does . some big guy worried the piss out of me the whole time . rick was so damn cool !!!!! i guess the big guy got paid to be a prick . i think it was that guitar player . he is a giant . the one with glasses .
