On Monday 27 June, Willem-Alexander and Máxima will start their state visit in Vienna with a welcome ceremony at the Hofburg. In the afternoon, a wreath is laid for the victims of the Second World War at the Namenmonument in the Ostarrichi Park. The Royal Couple will then be given a tour of the memorial commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. Next, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima will visit the Mayor of Vienna, Michael Ludwig, and the Deputy Speaker of the Austrian Parliament, Doris Bures. In the evening, Federal President Van der Bellen offers the Royal Couple a state banquet at Belvedere Palace. Early next year, this museum will present the exhibition 'Klimt. Inspired by Rodin, Van Gogh, Matisse' present. During the state banquet, King Willem-Alexander and Federal President Van der Bellen give a speech.
