I played in a band called Boulder, which warmed up Blackfoot in Prestonburg KY. around 78. We got through our set, and then they played for about 10 minutes and the power went off. Our extension cords were burning the wooden stage floor. Evacuation ensued. Our singer found $40 in a wallet that had been left behind. He's the only one who got paid

What a great time to be a kid with a fake ID. I believe all those guys knew I was only 15 and let me hang out anyway but they also looked out for me. I’m so grateful to all of those guys.
