I spent a large majority of my life trying to please everyone and wanted everyone to like me. It was very draining and frustrating and stressful. @Syrious_ Kash I wouldn’t say (only help those who can’t pay you back) but I understand - 9 times out of 10 if I give someone some money I don’t expect to get it back - I rather deal with people that really need it and can not pay it back than to deal with someone that pays you back and want to borrow it back tomorrow (shit gets old) - especially when I am washing dishes and cutting grass for a living but that person is making triple what I make in a week - it’s worst than crediting crack to a crackhead - pay you back on Friday evening but want to credit more Friday night - it gets deeper than that but I do understand tho - but the shit can backfire also - giving 10 or 20 dollars to someone that is not trying to help themselves (dam near every week) - but soon as you say (I don’t have it today homeboy) they forget about the other 50 times and that you never ask for anything back - I try to stop doing stuff like that but I just can’t live that way - God blesses us with this material crap so we are supposed to share it (((sometimes)))

I have a patent that I'm almost done with, and no one donated. My son graduates this year. My only son, he's not in the streets. I cry a lot but I'm very grateful. Thanks for this message! I’ve always set boundaries but some newer friends seem to think they don’t apply to them. Therefore I show them better than I can tell them. Actions speak louder than words. People who don’t respect my boundaries, don’t respect me. That’s when I know it’s time to distance myself from them or just cut them off. My happiness & peace is not worth giving up to appease nosey, messy, needy people. I’m perfectly fine with having a small circle of trustworthy friends/family members in my life. Quality over Quantity works best in my life.

Good morning /afternoon/evening Mr. Smiley and all who read this. As a social worker, I tell all of my clients, Set boundaries for yourself and others. Because if you don’t, it can and will increase your anxiety and depression trying to keep everyone happy. And if you have other Mental Health issues can make them worse. In the BIPOC community, we have to take care of our mental because most of us are also dealing with trauma as well. Take care of yourself 1st, remember your Godly blessings, and those who truly love you. 🛐☮️

My father taught me and my siblings how to respect others as well as ourselves. I was taught, as well as, taught my children to set boundaries as well as respect the boundaries of others. Eventually, my grandparents finished raising me. I tell you, that is one part of my life that I can relive over again. Iam who Iam because of them.

I accidentally ran across this video and you made my day! I'm so sick of most people. You sound like you are real and I love it. I moved away from several people in my life. And one I recently moved away from got the nerve to tell others some negative s..t about me. That's the one I just realized could have caused me my life more than once! Its always the ones close to you. My mother told me growing up. Beware of most females they can be "Trouble". I found that to be true. My youngest son and I don't speak now. I love him and I miss him. But one thing I won't do is allow him to disrespect me! He is a grown ass man now so act like it! Thank you
