I would always use to watch this show a lot when I was in High School. This was one of the best show. And this show was first aired 29 years ago.

Brings back memories on then ABC (now FOX) affiliate in Birmingham, Alabama WBRC Channel 6 in the Early to Mid 90's

There was a guy in the Birmingham area named Jim Metrock who used to target the local sponsors of these tabloid talk shows in the '90s. At one point, he mentioned the irony of a show like Ricki Lake airing on WBRC given the station's "Family First" branding at that time.
