It is TRAUMATIZING for a child to be in a family home where the mom and dad _hate_ each other, even if they try to hide it. Kids can TELL. And, you're teaching your CHILDREN that _this is what love and marriage is?!??_ Ridiculous. I'd rather my parents be separated and happy, flourishing...than to be in an atmosphere of tension, anger, silence, neglect, lack of any emotional connection. My parents stayed together their whole life, it was horrible, so much drama, so much tension, I would literally have panic attacks because these 2 wouldn't stop fighting. I divorced my husband we never went to court, always co-parenting peacefully, my son never witnessed a fight between us. To this day we have remained civil and friendly with each other . I have his back and he has mine, no romance whatsoever I still visit him, his wife, new baby and my in-laws and we get on great. He was meant to be my friend, not my husband I guess. It's a shame for my son that his parents didn't stay together but imo it's still better that we separated and kept respectful always towards each other and our son our number 1 priority.

Now that they are grown, I'm glad I worked, as I know I can make it on my own without any help. I'm not someone's doormat. I'm on marriage #2 (29 years now)--we don't argue much, because there's nothing to argue about. My ex left me, and I am so glad that I was able to make it on my own without help. I would not have received any help, and would have probably been homeless. As a result, I have raised 2 wonderful women that are Warriors--not Doormats!

The alternative to marrying another person when you DO NOT LOVE the person is hell on earth ...so make DIVORCE YOUR OPTION.

This is soooo 90’s 😂 I love it 90s baby!! Also you can tell that Rex is a good guy, his heart is in the kind of right place and he’s obviously being very honest and blunt. Her on the other hand is so.. nvm I’ll keep that to myself. Her character is just not great at all… I hope she changed, likely so. I myself was a nightmare of a person in my 20s thankfully I didn’t have kids or marry in that mindset lol. Also, Dude keeps a machete under the bed and sharpens every week?? Threatens people with it? Like what??? How is everyone calm?

A bunch of people who willingly entered a situation they knew was bad. I don't feel sorry for any of them. I only feel bad for the kids. Then they wonder why this exact generation are cutting off their parents and going no contact now. These pple are ridiculous and have no self-respect. And the guy saying 17 isn't a baby needs to be investigated.

It’s a little concerning that the black woman said that her husband was going to be the death of her and then right after admitted to them being violent towards each other. I wonder where they are now.

Some stay at home moms love to claim they want to stay home because “it’s better for their children”. But the first thing that came out of her mouth when Ricky asked her why not get a divorce was “ I don’t wanna work” not because “if we do separate I would have to leave my kids because then I would have to get a job” 😂😂 don’t let them fool you. Some actually don’t mind working when the kids get older but once their kids are school age and they still don’t wanna work it’s because they’re LAZY lol 😂😂 can’t convince me otherwise

Going through this right now with a man I have been with for 10yrs but thankfully we are not married we just have a kid together and every time I want to leave he asks her to pick a parent and tells her that I am breaking up the family. He is mentally draining to everyone and is always starting fights in front of our kiddo I tell him I don’t want to do this in front of her but he always says she’s part of this family too and needs to see us fight. She is 6 and it frustrates me that he dosnt care. Iv tried locking myself in rooms to stop the fighting but he has removed the locks.
