EDIT: I'm scrapping the next one and starting over Soo, the next one has no audio for 2 weeks. I edited it all but it feels like a very different style. Would you like to see a slower paced, more story/commentated 8 minute video or do you think it'd be better to just fly over the missing audio bits in a 2 minute segment?

nah you should just edit it normally, in this type of videos (heavily edited 100 days style) you barely notice the in-game audio with all the music and commentary so most people probably don't care

I think you should be able to break the floor, it's a key part of every rooftop series I've seen and it makes sense, about the respawn time, if it were up to me I'd turn it off. since horde night also respawns zombies and the population is insane you would be unable to go down, without respawn it's a risky but doable thing that requires a lot of preparation and that sounds better to me.

the floor thing is a double edged blade type thing respawns would help flesh out the world population however it risks respawning in the starter sky scraper as we have seen in the past

I hate the concept of zombie respawn in Zomboid. That's just unrealistic, unfair and frustrating. You should be able to see your zombie-killing progress with your own eyes. If you want challenge - just add more zombies.

Breaking the floor does feel okay as the hunt for resources will force you to leave your areas of safety. You'll need food and presumably want to occasionally do stuff. And, with the helicopters, those guys do turn less friendly and eventually stop (unless you've got them on forever) so they seem okay as some early game breathing room. Horde night seems to be on top of the respawning.

I think floor removal is almost required with Mass population. progress is going to be hella slow other wise, Especially if you have a high respawn rate for zombies.

I’d say no sledge floor breaking. The sheet ropes keep you safe already on the top floor, but I’d really try to keep away from stair breaking, just me though.

You can use fence+crate+fence to further fortify your stair blockades Only crawlers can break the fence, tho I dont know if you can reach them with your bat thru the fence+create

I'd say honestly with the horde night, you won't need to tinker with the spawn rates. Plus with the heli events you have to worry about getting shot yourself eventually, so I think given time the difficulty will increase regardless.

This series won't last very long if you cant do the box + fence trick or take the floors/staircases out. You're just going to spend all of your time fixing barricades and killing zombies forever if you cant *really* secure a location. It won't really let you get to the interesting part of the rooftops challenge runs, which is sort of "extending" your safe zone and securing an increasingly large area of control. Could become tedious pretty quickly if you don't use the cheese. There are more of them than you can possibly fight or clear out properly.
