Max Verstappen vs LITERALLY EVERYONE
Max Verstappen the professional Sim Racer, part time F1 driver is up against the biggest war of his life. Going against McLaren, the FIA, Red Bull and Ferrari (although not really Ferrari actually, those guys are more of a threat to themselves. But still, Max is going up against all of these guys....by himself.
Mercedes is in the picture as well, which means Max is up against Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. And thats JUST the teams, not including the FIA. Which is literally an ENTIRE organization that Max has been beefing with the past week or two.
If you didn't know, the FIA has banned swearing, or in more accurate words, strongly advise against driver's swearing not just in press conferences but also in team radio. Which I personally think is absurd and ruins Formula 1 for a lot of people. Driver's literally risk their lives in every race and the FIA is crying about swearing?? It makes no sense.
But driver's have protested, Max as well, in the most badass way possible, which has led to me making this video. Max continues to be the most badass driver on the grid. After being penalized for swearing during the pre-race press conference of the Singapore Grand Prix, Max protested by giving the driest response sin the post-qualifying press conference.

So essentauilly, a lot of pressur eis on Max Verstappen. And the funniest part about all of this...is that the guy still cant give two sh*ts about the whole situation. He's in a fierce title fight against Lando where he has to place 2nd in every race to have the slightest chances of winning, and is against the FIA. Bro still doesn't care, its hilarious. Oh and Daniel Ricciardo's departure drama gets a mention here too.

Fun Fact: Verstappen had a 52-point lead over Norris entering the Miami Grand Prix. (the race where big upgrades for Mclaren happened, which made them the clear best car.) He still has a 52-point lead after Singapore, 13 races later. Despite having a clearly worse car. It's actually a miracle work that he is still in this championship fight.(while playing Minecraft mind you)

I feel like it's too controversial to say that Red Bull is paying the price for not listening to Perez. This might be too extreme, and it's probably exasperated by me being a Checo fan, but he's been giving constant feedback to RB about balancing problems in the car which have now turned out to be true. They never fixed it as the Verstappen kept on winning and masked the problems, but now that McLaren is at the gate and Max has to push so hard he can't mask the problems anymore. This isn't about Checo's performance or the car issues'. It's that Horner and Marko's internal politics are reached a point where necessary are delayed and it's probably destroying the team. Red Bull could've had a Schumacher/Barrichello situation of having Schumacher win and Barichello here and there, with him giving feedback. Edit: He mentioned my point in this video and now my essay is irrelevant. Love you Rick

I do agree. With the driver Max is, he probably was able to drive around mistakes Perez couldn't. Similar to the Schumi, Barichello or Irvine days at Ferrari. They should've listened to the problems the weaker driver had, when you have a driver like Max. If it is the internal politics at fault, I don't know enough, it certainly doesn't help.

Yeah but you also have to ask the question, why should they listen to check if they know max can bring home a win, or even a Q3. If they build a car more suited for checo and less for max they are compromising almost guaranteed wins, it seems kinda dumb trying to develop a car around a guy who is under performing, it’s kind of like well he isn’t doing anything so we may as well keep pushing harder towards max and at least grabbing a WDC as they know constructors is no more.

@@ssusggus The thing is, Max can drive a car in such a way that it doesn't show the problems the car has. With a lesser driver those issues show up a lot sooner. The RB situation shows that. Checo had issues with the car more than a year back, they didn't fix them and listened to Max and now the problems are so bad Checo is out in Q2 and Max is struggling for a podium.

@@haribo836 they didn’t listen to Albon either, or piere, when they had similar issues they brought to their attention, yet they still went on to develop one the best cars we have ever seen. I strongly believe it’s to do with key figures parting ways at red bull that now those problems we have heard of in the past are no longer able to be fixed and suppressed as easily, combined with what I’d imagine would be a massive hit to their development program, those key figures would have stopped providing input well before they left, possibly even restricted information before parting, it’s like a paper cup, but now the paper cup has finally soaked through and they have run out of paper to patch it up to stop the water leaking out, unfortunately max can only hold his paper cup for much longer, mean while checos paper cup has completely soaked through with the help of him spilling some himself. they chose to help max instead, fair enough, it’s worked very well for them, and I would have probably done the same, they know what’s best, I can’t critique, they have done everything they can.
