Sent you a small donation over Rick. What a great cause. It was us - my step daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was 8 years old, we watched her go through various surgeries and god knows how many MRI scans - even a a trip to Oklahoma when she was 13 for Proton Beam Therapy. Unfortunately when we returned she was then diagnosed with Leukemia - unrelated to her brain tumour, and during her intense treatment for that - further brain and spinal tumours we're detected - it was bleak, and the doctors and Macmillan nurses were preparing us for the worse. Thankfully, she fought, and overcame, and last year got married - it was a special day. I know parents that weren't so fortunate, and I've been to the funerals. 😥 It's amazing who steps up and who steps away when you find yourselves going through a tough time - we had great support from people close to us and some not so close, but even then there were gaps that could have been filled - You've picked an absolutely cause to support here. 🙏

If huge golf fans don't enjoy watching the best player in the world win then golf is in trouble. Likewise, the same huge golf fans aren't impressed when a "no name" wins. I haven't watched the masters, but listening to the podcast it seems like it's similar to the evolution of snooker on TV. 20 Years ago and more, there was a lot more "drama" and suspense in a frame, because clearing the table was less common. Now it's like: break off, leave a long red, opponent clears the table, next frame. Maybe the players have become so good, it gets boring to watch (because you get used to seeing perfection)?

I really would love to see some more pro v pro scrambles. That may not have a place on any tour and i get that but man golf needs more team stuff that is micd up and more viewer freiendly stuff man. Maybe youtube channels will help this out but i would just love to see some pros v pros in some modified team events

I know that the wind made the two middle rounds really tough this year, but Scottie played a great tourney. He might not be the most exciting player, but to be honest not many of the guys are. I wish Augusta would use some of the other tees through the week. They use the back tees all the time, imagine 13 and 15 back to the "normal" length for Sunday and maybe Friday. The 11th hole is another one that could use a more forward tee, not the members tee, but maybe one of the other tees they have used over the years.

Hi Rick, this is not about the Masters, it’s not even about golf. It’s about a love for Rock and Roll. If you like rock music I have a treat for you. There is a band from Mexico called “ The Warning”. They are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico and they are touring Europe this month. They are in Germany at the moment and they are going to be in Manchester, April 25th at the Academy 2. If you love or even like rock and roll, you are going to love these girls. So far they have been selling out so hurry and get your tickets. Sorry about the rambling on but these girls are great. Enjoy!🤘🏻

Bold statement, but I agree about Tiger wincing in pain only when he's playing bad.

Could also be said as he's only playing bad when he is such pain that it makes him wince, and the fact that he is still willing to put himself through that is an incredible thing and a testament to how much he cares about playing.

During the Valspar last weekend my brother-in-law was over and didn't want to watch the tournament cause it wasn't competitive by Sunday. I realized I don't like watching golf for the competition alone, although when its down to the wire it is very exciting. I enjoy watching for exceptional golf... something I'm completely unable to do. That's what was great about this masters. Scotty did what none of us could ever do around that course. And its fantastic to watch in my opinion.

If Tiger remains fit enough to walk majors, when he turns 50 he may play Champions Tour with buggy (as is allowed, I understand) to get missing competitive reps in to tune game without stress on walking, leaving that for the majors.

Tiger played more competitive holes Friday than he did all season... I think he gets a few more tournaments in and adjusts to the new reality of his golf game and he will be competing for wins again. A lot of people call augusta the 2nd hardest walk in golf, so he just needs some time to get used to 72 holes during competition again

I really enjoyed the Masters this year. I liked the narrative with Scottie dominating golf, PGA vs LIV, Scotties wife being pregnant, Tiger Woods playing well at the start, Verne Lundquist last broadcast, Max Homa and Tommy drawing attention. And the Masters app (IBM) killed it. It was very interactive and user friendly. The camera shots were absolutely stunning. The weather really played a factor with the wind… so watching the athletes being creative was really cool. Oh, and wondering how the heck Bryson De was going to compete with his 3D printed irons. I really enjoyed it.

I thought it was a great tournament. The weather, particularly on the Friday with that wind, had such an effect on the field. Then a weekend where guys surged up to the top then dropped backed - including Scottie - made for some great action. Scottie's Sunday charge had the crowd roaring. DeChambeau's meltdown on Sunday was almost tragic. However, his antics in tearing up that sign post left me thinking the golf course took its revenge on Sunday. Great introduction to Aberg for everyone , especially States-side, who might be wondering who the next big star will be.
