We still should learn from the master Rickson Gracie. To know more about axissakadoamano...

This is nearly 30 years old... and it's still impressive as all hell... I rolled with Royler a few years ago and I'll be damned if it wasn't the most pressure I've ever felt... and you can feeeeel the pressure coming from Rickson. How he slow cooks his opponent. How he makes them desperate to run right into the (as Pedro Sauer calls it) mouse trap

I also rolled extensively with Royler back in 95 in Rio. He's reeeeeaal good! And to see Rickson dominate him this way tells me that all the stories are true

We can notice that Royler is just sparring and not rolling at 100%...he has Rickson’s neck at 30 sec and then leaves it. He doesn’t want to fight until submission but rolling with Rickson with the gloves for the 1995 japan Vale Tudo
@joeymcallister80334 жыл бұрын
Hmm..you don’t know jiu jitsu do you? He’s wrapping his neck with one arm while rickson hugs his legs. He can’t choke him. Why would he go for the choke when he can’t choke him from there? Please don’t tell me he can, I’m TELLING you, he can’t.

Except at 30 sec that's not really a great position for Royler though I cannot see what's going on on the other side.

lol pls , rickson know how to defend his neck in a single leg takedown , and royler know that he is going to lose his energy that's why he let the neck

Yeah I guess Royler will have to console himself with winning every major tournament even though Rickson didn't.
@billj45254 ай бұрын
@@aplus1080 Yeah, he should be happy with that. Rickson was the best and destroyed everyone, but he was almost mystical because he was barely seen in real competition. Very secretive. I know he did win the ones he entered, but Royler was in a lot more competitions and continued to go to major tournaments, including being a world champion. I'm sure Royler is happy with is own accomplishments regardless of Rickson.
