Definitely a great place to visit. We added it to our German trip as sort of an afterthought. Turned out to be my favorite part of the German segment of our vacation.

+Jason Carpp you dont have to be afraid. do not forget: rich fucks robbing the country usually (always) use racism and nationalism as a tool to keep their stolen wealth. devils use the low against the lowest, the poor against the poorest. they lie and spread hate. don't believe everything. you don't have to be worried. sometimes i think the brits are pissed because they didn't invent the nazithing first :-P

Frederick the Great was a king, not an emperor. And the Prussian army of his day, while large, and very large relative to Prussia's size, was not the largest in Europe. France, Russia and Austria each had larger armies.
@13Psycho138 жыл бұрын
+Neil Mitchell Indeed. The Prussian army certainly was one of the most disciplined in Frederick's time, but only during the German Empire was the army the largest in Europe.
@stephenkammerling94792 жыл бұрын
@@13Psycho13 Napoleon Bonaparte handled the Prussian army pretty well, until after his disaster in Russia. Then it was all down hill for him. Prussia allied with Britain to finish Napoleon off at Waterloo.

Well, as far as I know, it was not Voltaire who said about the nation and the army. Reviewing names and credits is very important in such short video. However, the city is a very beautiful Icon of beauty.

@NikolausUndRupprecht3 жыл бұрын
I am from Cologne and no, Berlin isn't my favourite City. It is just the party metropolis of Germany, living form subsides form other parts of the country. Seriously, they are always broke and there are other cities that need money, too.

Germany and America both did about the same thing. They cobbled together a history out of folklore, fact and myth. New countries need a past.
@525Lines8 жыл бұрын
+smartdave599 Yeah. Notice also how British and Japanese sought to develop a home grown mythology. Tolkein for the UK with Lord of the Rings and Miyazaki for Japan with Totoro.
