Hey Rick LAST PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YOU URGED YOUR VIEWERS TO VOTE FOR BIDEN. AFTER 4 YEARS OF FAILED POLICIES, INFLATION running at 19%, HIGH INTEREST RATES, COMPLETE OPEN BORDERS. IT'S A SHAME. I CAN'T BELIEVE STEVE IS AN IDEOLOGUE SO THIS ELECTION HE WILL URGE PEOPLE TO VOTE ON RESULTS. SINCE OUR COUNTRY IS IN A BAD STATE VOTE ANYONE OTHER THEN BIDEN.

Magnificent. Even in high areas that are not visible, they create very detailed carvings and paintings.

21:16 Rick got this one wrong (at least a little) the statue was originally going to be on a roof and he wanted the hand to look like the right size from the angle it was viewed from; then they decided to place it elsewhere.

In the summer time there is no where I rather be than in beautiful and green Denmark. And we have about 8.750 km of coast line, so the beach is newer far away. ❤❤

I'd love to do the boat trips on French canals. Although I'm not a wine fancier, I enjoyed learning about the process & developing appreciation. The medieval hospice is fascinating. My favorite segment is the one on Cluny & Fontenay Abbeys. I love those silent, haunting, yet spiritual corridors where monks once walked, worked, & prayed. Interesting to learn how the monasteries set the stage for Europe's industrial base, though its ultimate fulfillment still centuries away. I was born in Germany in 1957, retaining no memories. Aside from that, however, I've never been to Europe. Envisioning myself in France, as I fantasized while watching this program, is simply mind-boggling to me. I'm not sure I could focus or even comprehend anything, as I'd be so awestruck, feeling I was in a dream! I DO so hope I get there someday. In the meantime, I'm trying to learn French!

Chartres still works. I rode in from the east, & was treated to the sight of the uneven spires rising over the edge of the world from many miles away. 😮

Brought happy tears...I was just there in February for a few days. A treat from my daughter. We stayed at The Grand Leveque on Rue Cler. It was such a special time. We ate at several cafes and got macarones to bring home. Thanks for the memories. Looking forward to going back. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower.

“This is not a democracy”. You guys have double standards. When Mossadegh was DEMOCRATICALLY elected, you did a CIA coup. You only care about American interests. You don’t have a problem working with dictators as long as the dictator is in your interest. Like the shah.
