I AM A GREEK...but Iranian(we still call them Persians and Persia!!! ...after 2500 years) nation has history, culture, civilization, spirituality! WE the GREEKS respect them honor them and appreciate their contribution to history as we do for their STRENGHT to protect their way of life closer to human measurement! For us the GREEKS has come the time to "take our place only in history books as a nation we are dying"...We wish them to keep what they are doing because it seams they did it better than US...We wish them all the best in this hard path they follow...!

To my Greek friend, may your beautiful country be blessed with prosperity . As an Iranian I value the joys, sorrows and glories we have shared throughout our common histories .Every culture , race and creed is a blessing to human family . Wish your nation a long and abundant life . With love and respect from Iran.
@MikeGreenwood515 жыл бұрын
Theodorus Upon a difficult path many may think they are dying. No one escapes as death eventually takes all. But there may be no reason to die before your rightfull time. But as you age it can not be 100% right to cast all in to the gloom of depressive morbitity. Especially all the young Greeks. All surviving nations eventually are taken over by their youth who rise up as mature people and become the majority. So it maybe you imagine you and your nation are dying. But it may be just you or what you are doing. As we get older we need to look after ourselves more and more whilst much of the events and ideas of our own youth become historical. It may seem like dying or becoming part of the past. But the past is the past and today we may need to live knowing much has already past but still the end of the path may be put futher away if we choose to continue.

Thank you for posting this! My grandparents visited Persepolis like you did, and I am hoping to go in the next few years. By the way, what I am doing for my Art History senior capstone is investigating antiquities that are from the Achaemenid Empire (including those stolen from Persepolis), and investigating their provenance. One instance of looting is one too many, and sadly many countries, including the U.S., where I am from, have many Museums that have partaken in this. Many of them have especially stolen antiquities from Iran.

The Lion slaying the Bull was symbolic of the age of EN.LIL coming to an end. The marking of the Precession of the Equinox as the Constellation of Taurus moves into the Constellation of Leo. Had nothing to do with the change of "Seasons". The figure "on the Eagle's wing" was the symbol of the Annunaki who came from the Planet of the Crossing. The very Planet that is making it's ingress as I type, and, will effectively alter our lives dramatically.
