Enjoy Rick's live Monday Night Travel party with this video recorded on July 18, 2022. Experience the fun, conviviality, intimacy, and spontaneity of joining Rick in his living room as he shares his personal, inspirational, and sometimes hilarious behind-the-scenes commentary.
Frequent MNT guest and guidebook co-author Cameron Hewitt is home for a break after nearly 90 days in Europe. In addition to updating our books in London, Rome, Tuscany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Scotland, Cameron co-led the very first Rick Steves’ Europe Poland tour. He’ll describe what it’s like getting our guidebooks up to snuff for post-pandemic travelers and guiding a brand-new tour, share fresh-from-the-rucksack tips, and explain how he (briefly) became the most hated person in the Scottish Highlands. #ricksteves #mondaynighttravel

I think Cameron is Rick’s doppelgänger- but Cameron’s got it going on, himself. Thank you, for doing your due diligence in your effort to update the books. Am intrigued to check out Cameron’s book 📚 as well. And thank you all for continuing the Monday night travels. Am very happy to report after numerous cancellations-hubby and I have plans for getting to Europe (Italy) I have high hopes for it actually happening this time 🙌🏼

Cameron's a very pleasant & well informed man. I & i'm sure many, truly appreciate what he does, including all the effort, honesty and transparency, that he puts into all of his work/chats, etc;. To Cameron.....It's great that you speak truth and speak your mind, as a travel guide, because if you don't, then we the consumers, aren't hearing truth and aren't able to plan our prospective trips accordingly. As individuals and with yourself as a travel writer, etc;, you have a moral obligation to speak truth, as "you" see it & this is exactly what you do. This is definitely a good and welcome thing. I & i'm almost certain most, do appreciate your feedback, no matter what your thoughts. You're always respectful of all countries and it's respective inhabitants, when you travel and convey to us your helpful feedback. It's important feedback and if you think about it clearly, this is exactly what we all crave when we watch these shows. Specifically for the novice traveller. To gain much more knowledge and experience from Rick, yourself and others, is just awesome & as i stated prior, very welcomed. Thanks for sharing and please keep on travelling and bringing to us fans, more great content!

I like the idea of the Tap pay . What about transaction fees? If you are tapping for every purchase wouldn't you be accumulating hundreds of foreign transaction fees?

Sorry I missed this talk. I have a question about the guide books. Has there ever been a thought of selling the books unbounded?
